Sometimes I don't know if folk can't spell or have no knowledge of grammer.. then I remember that English isn't always someone's first language.

This dumb American never learned anything but English. *blush* I tried learning French, Spanish, German AND Japanese... but I seem to be one of those people who can't grasp the concept of speaking a foreign language. Recognizing other languages/accents I can do for the most part, but I'm stuck with only a few words and phrases to try and communicate.
I am in the process of moving house, so I will not be around much for the foreseeable future.

Does the stream not reset every quarter hour anymore?

I know with a flood it wouldn't but I thought it was just a glitch that was getting worked out. Not so sure now that I've read the official update on the main page...

I'm in the same boat. Took three YEARS of Spanish, and while I passed the spelling part of it and I can understand some, don't ask me to try and have a conversation or write anything I haven't memorized word for word. As far as I get is "Hello, how are you?" I can memorize words over and over, but unless I memorize complete sentences beforehand, it gets all jumbled when I try to speak/write it. Same goes for German. My mother grew up in Germany and knows the language quite well, but despite her best efforts over the years, I only grasp it slightly more than Spanish.

Not for lack of trying. My college Spanish teacher said I seem to learn differently than most. Not a bad thing he said, but I likely won't be able to learn languages through traditional teaching methods. Though...I'm not sure what other methods are there. :t-shrug:

Kestrad has been eaten by life. She'll probably pop back in occasionally.

I'm having issues with it too (yesterday it wouldn't take any new urls until after i deleted old urls/hit update then put them in- it also gets upset if you leave the http:// on the url when previously it didn't). i assume it's some kind of bug :c

Yarold's works fine, but you have to remove the https:// from the beginning of the link. Yarold's is hardcoded to only accept http.. MS just changed to https, so you have to remove the https:// park of the link for Yarold's to take it.

Sorry for being late... But I have opposite problem. I can spend two years, learn basic conversation (like up to middle school, teen years level, to almost be proficient in it).. My kicker... I can't hear well. People need to slow down for me, as I also process slow. My reading and writing is always excellent (thanks google translate for simple stuff!) You can also only tell barely that I don't hear well. (minus the lack of accent)
