I'm blind so anything I know of is going to be blind accessible or old but some good ones.

Warsim: a kingdom simulation game where you run a kingdom that is randomly and procedurally generated as you go. The game is updated on average more than once a week. The game runs in asci style and is heavily text-based but has as many sighted players as blind ones and is considered one of Steam's hidden gems. You can also get it from itch.io.
2. worldsmith: this one is more of a sim, but the fact your worlds you create can utterly fail is part of the fun. You create a fantasy world and play with the resources and such and the world grows and changes on its own. There is also a card game that has been made based on this sim and I think both are available from itch.io.
3. vvvvv: this is a classic platformer where you play the game just by reversingin gravity and moving through a dangerous platforming game. It is both very frustrating and very fun. Some pars of the game are just pure platforming skill while others require a bit of thought despite the game's incredibly easy mechanics.
Crazy Machines, Crazy Machines 2, and any sequels that came out since I lost what little vision I had: great puzzle games. When I say puzzzle games, I mean puzzles as each level is a brain teaser where you have to use objects and such to create chain reactions to accomplish a goal. If you liked the old game "The incredible Machine" or "Professor Tim and the incredible machine" this is a game for you.

for something a little different...

Manamon and Manamon 2: eternal requiem: These are pokemon-like games made for the blind though all their assets are original. The game has no graphics but great sound. It also works off of windows SAPI and such. The characters, story, and such in the games are original so these aren't hopeless pokemon clones. The games are as complex as any console games and cost about as much, though there is a free demo that lets you go through about the first 3rd of the game without paying which is several hours.
Breed memorial: If you liked the Monster Rancher series, this game is a audio-only version of thatwith original characters, assets, and even several modes of play that Monster Rancher never had.

if I find anything else, I'll let you know, though I'll try to stick to graphical ones for your sighted fans.

You didn't specify what system(s) you are playing games on (pc/xbox/playstation/ et cetera). On PlayStation one of my favorite indie companies is thatgamecompany. I'm not sure if their stuff is available on multiple platforms or not. My favorite game of theirs is called Journey. They have a new game that's out on mobile right now (Sky: Children of the Light) and is supposed to come to Switch sometime soon and I hope they bring it to the playstation. I tried playing sky once it finally was freed of Apple store exclusivity and liked it, but found it hard to play on a phone.

I really like Terraria on Steam - not sure that counts as old as they just recently completed their final update to the game. In the single
Player mode you run around a 2D world and kill monsters, dig up stuff, craft stuff and collect items. Really complex for such a simple game and I like wandering around on my own in the game when I need an escape.

@bookrage Im completley up to trying designed or set up for the blind/deaf etc.
I think they are severly underapreciated. I will add these to my list to track down. Thank you so much and feel free to send more.

@pegasi1978 I eventually want to do console systems but for now its just PC I just don't have the adapter yet. And I havent actually played Journey yet but Im holding off till I can record it ^^. Thank you for reminding me

@jessk I do have Terraria but I'm holding off on it for now cause I haven't heard if there's an actual "end" to the game. So I'm thinking ill save it for when I can play it with some streaming friends of mine. I do enjoy games like that and Minecraft when I just play for fun though. ty again ^^

I'll back up Jess on Teraria, that one is a pretty good and simple game with surprising difficulty and wesomeness. I definitely support that one as I played it way back when I could see better.

I'd also recommend castle crashers. It's a comedy beat-em-up where you originally play as one of 4 knights (though it can be multiplayer) and go to rescue princesses in this wild and wacky cartoon cel-shaded game that is largely in the game style of the old beat-em-ups like the old simpsons and Teenage Mutant Ninja turles arcade games among others though it is cute and cartooney.

You start with only four characters but every time you beat the game with a new character you unlock another and even without the expansions that add a couple more there are over 30 playable characters in all, each having their own move sets, versions of magic, and likewise. I'd advise the green knight because his magic attacks are poison and are good boss-killers.

The game also has a good set of level up systems as you do get xp as you fight the various enemies.

if you go mobile, Bitlife is a good one but that one has millions of players so that wouldn't do you any good in terms of originality but you could definitely take your own spin on it. It is one of my favorites. If that one doesn't work for you, there is also one simply called "life simulator" which you could contrast with the more popular game though life simulator is by no means bad.

If you ever liked the old diablo games, and I mean one and 2 I would try "Loki" in that one you choose from either an egyption sorcerer, a Norse warrior, an aztec shaman, or a greek hoplite and you deal with appoclyptic scenarios where a lot of the bad guys of all four mythologies for those people are wreakingn havoc on the world. The game's mechanics are very similar to diablo but every character has their own storiy mode and progression through the game's events.

Also, in that one, don't be expecting to be locked into your respective mythologies, quite early in the Norse character's story, minions of Set start showing up.

Some games I have really enjoyed:
Paraworld - a dinosaur-themed RTS from 2006
Vaporum - indie game from 2017. A steampunk dungeon crawler
Maybe "The Room" series? They're pretty good puzzle games.
Also, Q.U.B.E. - a puzzle game, kinda like Portal.

I would recommend you to play Dark Messiah of Might and Magic (old and interesting game), Skyrim, Star Trek. I also remembered Heroes of Might and Magic.

I'm going to give a few recommendations but I don't know what type of game you are into or cater to aside from old/indie. All these games I have in my steam library, most of my library is either indie or old. Ask me if you want more suggestions. ^^

Majesty
this is really old (2001) though I don't know if you would call it good. I have nostalgia glasses for this one.

Toren
indie, not all platforming is tight but the story is interesting

lili child of geos
old and indie, just a quirky little game.

Contrast
another indie with an interesting platforming mechanic

The Fall
indie atmospheric puzzle game

Message Quest
A cute little adventure game about a lazy lad with a quest.

Blade kitten
indie, a platformer with a cheeky catgirl as the main character.

Titan Souls
pixel-style boss rush game. very difficult

The night of the rabbit
point and click puzzle game

An excellent selection of games. I haven't even heard of many. Although, in those days I was not so many years old and I did not have a computer yet. But I am very interested in getting to know the games that were popular during my childhood.
