I have a friend on FB who might be able to help. She did an awesome light-up cosplay for ConDFW when her husband was the Vice-con chair. Even though she only entered the costume contest as a exhibition, not a judgable entry, the judges changed it because it was so awesome.
Well I have a tutorial I am going to be following, so we'll see! I have to have them done in 2 weeks.

I understand that. I have a show coming up in a couple of weeks that I need to finish a number of pieces for. I still haven't finished the first.

I love to draw. I have loved drawing since I was really little, and I even do digital art too! I also love character deign and development. It is a great and extremely important Thing to me. I am also a writer. I have wrote stories and books since I was really little to. I wrote about living eggs, collies, worlds I made up, and people I wanted to exist. Now I write about my characters, things I like, books, poems, and stories. I LOVE drawing and will draw almost anything. I can sow as well. I sow everything from fixing a pillow, to making doll pillows from scratch. I sow with a needle and thread and with a machine. I never could stand painting though.

I've finally completed an electrical craft prop with absolutely no assistance outside of an online tutorial that was vague as shit.

I recently acquired a shirt with a design that I absolutely love - it's enormous on me, so large that it could easily be a dress, which is exactly what I want to turn it into. Does anyone here have any pointers or suggestions? I found some tutorials that I think I can follow, but I'd love to hear from anyone who's done a similar undertaking. It's a men's extra large and I'm a women's (obviously :derr: ) small - the length on it for me is about mid-thigh. Not looking for anything elaborate, just taking it in to be a sheath dress and fixing the sleeves and maybe the neckline a little. Has anyone done anything like this? Most of the tutorials make it look fairly easy, but they're just working with normal shirts as opposed to trying to preserve any design on it. I'm a beginning seamstress - I've done a few minor projects but nothing of this style. If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome - I could also take a picture of it too if that's helpful. :wave:

@Sol - that looks awesome!!

I am a very creative and artistic person. My current poison is dream catchers and I have been sitting outside making them every weekend and it's fun showing off to other people. Besides those I have done soft oil pastels, chalk, paper cutting and mostly graphic design. I enjoy graphic design and am just now getting back into it. If anyone knows any good sites for inspiration pm me

Now I wish I knew how to write a crochet pattern. I thought of an excellent one to post today: a granny square oven mitt! :devil:

I love making animations on scratch.mit.edu and I often doodle in math class. Soon I will buy a Scene-A-Rama kit and make a cool mountain diorama. I'll post in when it's done! :)

3d modeling is pretty fun
takes forever though
anyway I do that sort of stuff sometimes
making music too, but I don't do that very much because i get "blocks" a LOT
also digital art is fun
but I don't do that alot anymore either
right now I'm just addicted to 3d modeling again lol
