Hi Guys! First of all, I'd like to thank you for your patience and pretty awesome posts! You are a great bunch of RP'ers, and I am honored to join in with your creativity. I appreciate the time you spend posting here, as I do with all of the members that join my endeavors, whether it be my Adventures or my Rps.

That said, allow me to introduce my first (Well, second if you count that Potoot^^) Giveaway to members of AMS only-Turkeys!

Call it the Turkey Hunt, Bird is the Word, Turkeypocolypse, it's just a chance for you the members of AMS to get a free bird^^You can choose to participate or not, you can work it into your RP posts or not-choice is yours^^ Depending on participation I may do all our "lessons" in the Academy in this fashion, or not. ,

A place for RP suggestions, ideas, comments and future developments for the Academy^^

Hi, Guys^^ Great posts-I love reading them^^
Just wanted to ask a few questions that will help develop future storylines, scenarios, and avenues of adventures for us^^

What quests have you done so far? Which ones are you working on/intend to do or missed?


What areas/regions of Magistream are you most interested in or intrigue you? (have you traveled to Rone for a rewin ancient? Have you been to the Ashen temple in search of an elder phoenix? Have you visited Lady Alua to exchange donec eggs for potions at Lake Lakira?

What shops do you visit frequently? Remy's, the trading post, black Market?
What shop/society are you a member of if any? Herbalist, Trident or Dark? Artificer?

If you have any ideas, suggestions you'd like to share on future class topics, (I was thinking a creature breeding/animal husbandry class for those in the process of breeding hybrids)

I'm loving the 1st students and teacher of AMS posts, so let's get acquainted!
I listed a few questions in the 1st post, and please feel free to ask your own.
I'm open to any comments and suggestions from you guys!

1.) I haven't completed that many quests yet, but I've been trying to get the ally quests/monster quests done so I can have a more robust keep and plenty of creatures to sell if they don't quite fit into the dark theme of my keep.

2.) I don't know if this sounds pretentious but occasionally I look for places on the map where I could situate a keep like mine. I have a few ideas but none of them stick so far. For example, there's an unnamed island off the coast of where Silva Forest meets Boreus--that's my best candidate so far, but it isn't set in stone. For named locations I'm mainly interested in Silva, Boreus, and the Caves of Nareau.

3.) I visit Remy's, the Trading Post, the Black Market, and the Dark Shop. I'm a proud DB member, and the overwhelming majority of the characters hailing from my keep are in some way tied to dark magic of varying degrees of evil.

4.) No suggestions yet, since we just took off. Really looking forward to developing Althea's character and seeing how her interactions with others will shape her future. I have a few secrets about her character that will be hinted at/revealed at appropriate times.

{I'm assuming we are supposed to answer the questions as our characters, please correct me if I'm wrong though}

1. What quests have you completed/are working on?
Aria mostly just travels around looking for and studying new creatures, so she hasn't done most of the quests involving speaking with other humans. She helps creatures out when she can though, so she has done quests revolving around creatures, simply bypassing any speaking with humans that may be involved. She's not really as focused on completing specific quests as she is in just helping out where she can, though. So she doesn't really consider them quests, per se. (If you want a list of exactly which quests she has completed (minus interactions with other humans) let me know)

2. What areas/regions are you most interested in?
Aria enjoys exploring basically every region, though she avoids areas that are very highly populated by other humans. She doesn't mind extremely cold temperatures in the slightest, so she particularly liked the Alasre region. She is slightly less partial to extreme heat, but is completely willing to venture into a desert to find new creatures. Really, she's interested in basically any area where she can find creatures.

3. What shops do you visit?
Aria doesn't visit any shops, since it would require conversing with other humans. She's not part of any societies either, though she would/may eventually join the Society of the Trident if she were to join one.

@ Sans I meant as a Magistream player, technically, but your answers led quite an insight into your character, Aria^^
I thought if there were quests any of you guys wanted to do or haven't done, we could spotlight it and help each other out with creatures and or info. (like the Mordecai Quest, the school quest, taggelisk quest-official MS quests-so to say. (They are all just reading-no interaction what so ever-except getting the specified creatures.) I'm sure there must be a quest to get into the trident society as well. I'm working on the Monsters one right now^^

Not very many;; I'm currently working on the quests for the Artificers Association and the Black Market, and I just recently finished the recent Halloween quest (I'm a bit scared of the Draculs in my Keep rn 0-0;;). I haven't really done any other quests Valerie likes to explore, but doesn't necessarily have a sense of adventure. If she thinks it'll put someone in danger, she won't do it without a bit of pressure.

EVERYWHERE. I love every area in Magistream, but the Silva Forest intrigues me the most! I think I may have a weakness for mysterious forests full of wolves Valerie's most at home in a place with a lot of plants, especially if it's trees. She actually has a mild fear of drowning, so she tends to avoid lakes.

What shops do you visit frequently? Remy's, the trading post, black Market? What shop/society are you a member of? Herbalist, Trident or Dark? Artificer?
You can find me at Remy's Inn every other day I get on I'm not a part of any society or shop, and I probably won't be for a long time (I'm just getting access to the Artificers Association for the items that'll give me extra gold ). Valerie hasn't gone to any of these places, nor is she a member of anything, but if she met Remy I have no doubt she would connect with him rather quickly, noting his history with the Silva Forest himself

Future class topics... can't think of anything rn, but might I suggest a school garden? I do like the thought of a creature breeding class, I can't keep what can and can't be bred straight lol (I just discovered there's a limit on smilies in a post 0 - 0)

Thanks for the reply, Evee and I do plan to have a garden area in summer months and a greenhouse for winter! (I live in Ohio, so as the seasons' change, so does the RP climates^^)

Everyone is doing really great with their posts and I hope everyone is having a good time!
I'll try and keep a running synopsis up here to keep track of everyone, so please check back often and help update if I'm not correct, OK? Dorm rooms and staff rooms listed as well.

It's back to work for me, and the holidays are SO not fun in retail!^^

I didn't want to interrupt your RP, so after reading it all and catching up, I'd like to apply to join! I can post there as well, but I just wanted to be sure that it would be okay since you guys have some storytelling going.

I also wondered if the Creature Studies position had been filled? Perhaps I could fill that as well as the Breeding class? It could be like a studies and behavioral class.

Also also, if the teacher position is not filled, would there be like two personal creatures for the character, and then more creatures for the class? How are you envisioning that? Or maybe they're all bonded to the school? Just curious to help shape my understanding and story later.

Once that question is answered I'll type up a quick character sheet

Welcome, WolfeDente and welcome back to MS as well! I just came back recently from a 5-year hiatus myself.^^

That's a wonderful idea with the creature studies/breeding/behavioral class! I would love to have you join and fill the teacher position!

The two creature limit is just a general guideline, and you can use any creatures you like for teaching/studying purposes. I'm always spotlighting /discussing creatures in my posts.
Creatures of every kind inhabit the Academy, much like the Keep, and some/most perform duties that are inherent to its nature around the Academy, so that leaves plenty of opportunities to include them in posts!

You can post your character sheet in the main RP post so it will be seen there by the other members.^^

You are accepted!
I'll send your messenger Bird to lead you to the Academy, and you can use it in your posts or not, the choice is yours^^
