Yes, the list took a hiatus for awhile, it's currently at 7550, but we'll update it when we get the time to.

Edit // As of 2nd Mar, The list is now at 7601.

We, are working on updating and improving the list. Hopefully, this weekend everything will be in place.

The list is updated. As of this edit there are 9216 families on Magistream. And now, thanks to tinnidawg we have links to the family pages in the list for fast reference. Enjoy the new and improved list.

Just wanted to say that as of today, May 1, 2011, there are now 9249 families listed in the Magistream Families Master List.

4 of my familys lost ALL of their offsprings (including pro-gens) does this mean the linege is still alive?

The lineage Draco jewel, Ice gem, BlackWidow, & Smiley all still exist although there are no members in them.

I had two lineages that were completely erased during the crash. The prog. creatures were returned to egg and hatchling form, and one of each to the original owner. I tried to re-create one of them, and it said it still existed, yet the offspring had been poofed and the first ones had the, er, well, clock turned back on them and no longer held the family name...I am thoroughly baffled. (By the way, the lineages were Draius and Lucet). Is this correct place to ask about this?

While you're progenitors' clock got turned back and they no longer show the family name, the lineages in question, Draius and Lucet, still exists so you can't create another lineage with the same family name. You'll have to wait until Tristan gets a chance to fix the problem that arose with the lineages resulting after the crash.

There is a thread, 2-support-and-suggestions/110192-lost-l ... -move.html, that lists lineages of members that they want to be deleted so that it can be re-created by the original lineage creator.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Sorry for the double post, but I believe that this announcement deserved its own post. As far as I can tell, the lineages from #8464 to #9465 has been deleted from the MagiStream Database. That means you can now re-create your lineage that was affected by the recent site outage. However, as far as I know, those lineages will not be deleted from the MagiStream Families Master List (Google Spreadsheet) until they have been re-created by their previous creators before the crash. That way, folks won't complain that their lineage name has been taken by someone else. If you have been able to re-create your lineage, kindly let us know so that the master list can be updated accordingly.

This post shall also be posted in Lost Lineages (Definite List in Progress, Please Move) and Quick question about lineages.
