Eurus nods mechanically. They move towards the door, a march with determination. "I will be acquiring bugs, in the mean time."

The next morning, Ysog actually bothers to get dressed, getting into their dayclothes before tugging on that same overcoat and allowing just an insane amount of their companion creatures to crawl into their pockets. One of their direcores, an albino named Firuvilious, pushes her head under their arm, pressing her nose into a pocket. "No, Firi, you can't fit anymore, you're too big!" Ysog laughs, pushing her back. The direcore whines, and they sigh. "...you can come with, fine." Firi barks once, gives them a big doggy grin. "Crunch, Snap-" They call, but the massive birds are already swooping through the gateway they've created, out into the world.


Ysog steps through with the direcore, shivering briefly against the cooler air, and makes their way to the Library. "You have to behave, alright, Firi?" The wizard says, giving the great hound a stern look. "Or they're gonna kick us out." They nod to the two birds, and one flies off while the other lands and settles into the harness Firuvilious wears, clicking its beak together.
They wait at the appointed area, fidgeting nervously and ignoring the scattered dirty looks they get for bringing a whole ass direcore into the Library. ...Yeah, they're definitely pushing their luck with this one.

Eurus pushes the door to the library open, dressed in the exact same old-fashioned clothes they wore yesterday but this time they've added a floppy and old beret and a large moth-eaten jacket. Leaves trail after them, and Eurus readjusts the bag that contains the baby Psittarx Dragon as he looks over their shoulder at the other patrons.

The automaton makes a beeline to Ysog, ignoring any other person in the way.

Eurus finally stops in front of the other wizard, standing stiffly.

“Good morning, Ysog.”

"Gmorn." Ysog says distractedly. "....ready to- start?"
