“I’m still in pain from my operation, but besides that I’m doing fine,” Vince said as he smiled over at Leo. He snuggled in his blankets, trying to get a bit more comfortable. He thought for a moment before coming up with an idea. “Would you like to come inside my cage with me?” he asked, scooting over a little bit so there would be room for Leo to come in if he would like to. His cage was actually pretty roomy compared to some others since he was considered a favorite. “You’d be able to talk to both Lewis and me if you did.” They would have to be pretty discreet, but they might be able to work it out.

Michael smiled when he heard Lewis’s request and saw that cute blush on his cheeks. He was actually pretty darn cute, and he wouldn’t mind getting to know him a bit better, especially if their plan to escape succeeded. “Of course I can do that for you.” He took the cream from the other before scooping some out. “Do you mind turning around for me?”

"Oh. I hope the pain'll get better soon. That's good," Leo said in reply to what Vince said in his first statement while smiling back at him afterward before hearing the question he asked. "Sure and that sounds nice," he said in reply before going inside the cage at the other's invitation. He settled in beside the neko but on the other side and listened to Lewis' and Michael's conversation from where he was.

Lewis smiled a bit shyly when he heard Michael's response before turning so his back was towards him as requested. "Would you like me to take my shirt off for easier access to my wings?" he asked shortly after he had his back turned towards the cage's entrance where Michael was.

“I’m sure it will. The scientist make sure to give me plenty of medicine when I need it.” Vince’s instincts were already telling him to snuggle up to Leo as soon as he slipped inside, but he was doing his best to hold himself back. He didn’t even really know the guy! “So tell me about yourself, Leo? Got any interesting stories about the outside world?”

“Yeah, if you are able to. You won’t want to wear a shirt while your wings heal, or it will irritate them,” Michael said as he moved to sit behind Lewis, his hand filled with ointment patiently waiting for the other to take his shirt off. “I’ll also check on the stitches and make sure they did them properly.” If they weren’t, he knew of a scientist in the building who would fix them up for him.

Leo listened to everything that he said before hearing the questions that were asked afterward. "Oh that's good. It sounds like the scientists are nice to you. They're not very nice to me, but that's okay; I don't really expect them to be. Well I like to read and write, I get along with my siblings, and I have a sweet tooth. I don't really have very interesting stories to tell from when I was last there which was a couple of years ago before I was kidnapped and brought here; sorry. The only thing I remember is hanging out with a few friends and me being on my way back before I was grabbed. I woke up here the next day," he said in reply as he got a bit more comfortable in the cage or as comfortable as he tried to get anyway.

Lewis nodded and started to take off the shirt as requested while listening to everything else Michael said. "I think they put the shirt back on after they were done because I came to in here with it back on. I'll make sure to keep it off and thank you," he said in reply while completely removing his shirt and putting it aside.

((I'll be going out of town in two weeks to the beach for a week, but I'll still post at night after our day activities before I go to bed))

“A sweet tooth? One of your teeth tastes like sweet?” Vince asked, looking a bit confused. Being born in this place, he had no idea about how people normally talked. He didn’t even know what the outside looked like. “What’s it like outside? The scientists have always told me that it would be unsafe for me to be out there.” And that kept him from wanting to escape out into the world… At least until he met Leo and Lewis. The way Leo talked about things made him very curious.

Michael watched as Lewis took off his shirt, his eyes moving to the bumps under Lewis’s shoulder blades that would eventually form winds. “I didn’t realize they did this specific operation on you.” There have been multiple types of wing experiments done in the past, and this one was probably one of the newer ones. It was also the most successful one so far. “This may be a bit uncomfortable while your body gets used to your wings forming.” Taking a smudge of cream, he gently and carefully rubbed the cream into the nubs. Hopefully that would help with the itching.

"No. What I meant was that I really like sweets. Saying that you have a 'sweet tooth' just means that you really like sweet things such as desserts and candy," Leo said in reply and as an explanation to both of Vince's confused questions that he asked at the beginning before hearing his other question and the statements that he asked and said afterward. "Sometimes the weather's really nice with it being sunny but then other times, it's cloudy or it rains with storms. Storms have lightning and thunder, which is a really bright light before a really loud boom sounds after. Some people are nice and welcoming where others can be really mean and those might be the people that might give us a hard time about how we look after, or if, we get out of here. It'll be because of those people that me and Lewis will need to hide our wings and you'll need to hide your cat ears and tail," he said in reply in an explanation that he hoped the other would understand. He tried to say his responses in a way that might be easily understood, but he wasn't sure about that.

"What operation would that be?" Lewis asked curiously in reply as he tried to look over his shoulder to see what Michael was talking about. He then nodded in both understanding and reply when he heard what the former said before preparing for what might be an uncomfortable feeling. When he felt the cream be rubbed over the bumps on his back, he shivered slightly because it made those areas feel a bit cold but then he had to make himself try not to itch those areas when the cold feeling disappeared to be left with a slightly itchy feeling soon after. When that feeling disappeared a few minutes or so later, his shoulders slumped a bit in relief while he also let out a sigh of relief afterward as well. "It's helping with the itch so far," he said to let the other boy know so that he wasn't wondering if it was helping or not.
