"Yeah but I still feel bad for the more recent one that made us break up and have me feel depressed and want to kill myself," Rafe said before noticing that Roan had dropped his hand so that he could go at a more slower pace. "Sorry love," he said before going back over to him to stand beside him and before he also heard Hikaru and Alex's news. "That's awesome you two," he said with a happy grin on his face before he looked over at Roan to see that there was something wrong. "Yes of course," he said now with a concerned expression on his face as he led them back to his room.

Alex just sighed a bit when he heard what Hikaru said before they were over near Rafe and Roan. He smiled even more at their congratulations before it faded slightly when he saw Roan falter slightly due to dizziness and then he followed behind Rafe with Hikaru towards Roan's room.

Roan was a bit side when Rafe admitted that he wanted to commit suicide at one point, but he didn't have time to say anything back to Rafe. He would be sure to do that later. When he saw that worried look on Rafe's face, he adverted his eyes away, but he wrapped his arm around Rafe's so that he could walk at a better pace and keep himself from collapsing. "I'm fine. You guys don't need to worry about me please," he muttered as he walked. As soon as they arrived back at his room, Roan got back onto his hospital bed before attempting to get his oxygen machine hooked back up. "Rafe, could you help me?" he asked after only getting dizzier at his attempts, ending up having to lay his head down on the pillows and relax.

Hikaru was so happy when he heard his friends' responses, but just like the others, he was concerned when Roan asked to head back to his room. He wasn't looking too good. "Alex, do you think something is wrong?" he whispered softly as he reached out and took Alex's hand in his own. Even just watching the way Roan was acting was beginning to worry him.

Rafe nodded when he heard Roan’s muttered statement before walking back to his room with him at a slow pace so that it wouldn’t make him worse. “Of course,” he said in reply when they had gotten back to his room and the former asked him to help him before hooking up the oxygen machine back up and then sitting on the bed beside him for a few minutes. He knew that he needed to get going with Alex to get Kai back but he’d wait a little while longer to make sure that Roan really was okay.

Alex followed behind Rafe and Roan with Hikaru while saying in reply to his question, “I’m not sure but maybe he was just out of bed too long and needed to lie down again.” When they got to Roan’s room, he sat down in a chair nearby after having pulled another one close to him for Hikaru if he wished to sit down as well. “I’ll be going with Rafe soon to get Kai but I’ll be careful when we do go and I’ll also make sure that we’re not gone too long,” he whispered to Hikaru before kissing him softly on the cheek.

Roan was sit a bit dizzy, but having his head against the pillows really helped make it not as bad. "You can go if you need to," he told Rafe, reaching out and holding onto his hand. He gave it a small squeeze as he took a breath through the nasal cannula. It wasn't too easy to breath, but at least the oxygen machine was there to help him out. "I'll have Hikaru here with me, so don't worry too much about me, okay? I'm more worry about our baby right now."

Hikaru followed Alex over to the chairs, sitting in the one that Alex pulled over. "Just be safe. I don't want our babies to grow up without a father," he whispered softly, smiling when Alex kissed his cheek. He was just so worried about what could possibly happen to either of the boys, but he also knew that they needed to get Kai back. "Just promise to text me as soon as you guys start heading back, okay?" he asked, holding out his pinky to Alex just like a little kid would.

“Okay. I just wanted to be sure that you were comfortable first before I left,” Rafe said in reply before squeezing Roan’s hand back and then getting up out of his chair shortly afterward. He then leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips before pulling away again and heading towards the outside of the room and in the hallway.

“I’ll be careful and I promise,” Alex said in reply to everything that Hikaru said before completing the pinky promise with him. He then got up and walked after Rafe after the former left the room and went into the hallway. They nodded at each other before heading downstairs and out of the hospital to head towards the woods. As soon as they were in the trees, Rafe shifted to his wolf form and started to lead the way towards where the hunters’ scents were.

Roan sighed as Rafe and Alex left before turning his attention to Hikaru, giving him a small smile. He was pretty worried about Rafe and Alex, but he wanted to try and distracted himself from thinking about them while they were gone. "So how do you feel about having twins?" he asked.

"Well, I'm actually really excited," Hikaru answered with a big smile on his face as he reached down and rubbed his belly. He really hoped that nothing happened to either one of them, but male pregnancy had its risks. The risks for males having multiples had to be crazy though. "I'm actually terrified about the giving birth part, but other than that, I'm good."

Rafe led Alex right to the building that the hunters were in, staying in wolf form as they made their way inside. Alex stayed behind Rafe the whole time, knowing that the former could see better than him in the dark especially while in wolf form. He prepared his electricity and plant control for what they might encounter around a few other turns or so in the building. When they went around the next turn, they saw five hunters around Kai and four more that made up the outer circle that surrounded the inner one. While Rafe worked on attacking the outer circle by just biting them enough to only injure and not kill before knocking them out by hitting them in the chest with his head, Alex worked on knocking out the ones in the inner circle with his plants and lightning. They did try to put up a fight but with the way the plants were wrapping around them, it made it impossible.

The hunters that Rafe knocked out were too surprised by his arrival to attack. When they were all out, Rafe shifted back to human form and approached Kai before picking up with a smile. “Hey. Let’s go see mommy,” he said before carrying him outside the building with Alex following. The latter sent a text to Hikaru when they were on their way back. Rafe transferred Kai to his mouth before he shifted back to his wolf form and took off running back towards the hospital with Alex following behind him again. When they got back to being outside the hospital, Alex took Kai from Rafe and then after the latter shifted back to human form he gave him back before they both headed back inside. When they got back up to the floor that Roan and Hikaru were on, they made their way back and smiled at them in the doorway with Kai.

Hikaru was almost asleep when he got Alex's text, jolting awake and picking up him phone. He sent Alex a smiley face emoji before looking over at Roan who was actually asleep. He went over to him, giving him a gentle nudge. "Wake up sleepy head. They got Kai." Roan opened up his eyes soon after, a smile forming on his face. Together the two waited for Rafe, Alex, and Kai to arrive.

When the trio got there, Roan was so happy to see Kai that he started to cry. He held out his arms towards Rafe and Kai, wanting to hold his baby and hug Rafe, too. "I was so worried about you. Don't scare me like that ever again, okay sweetie?" he told the baby with a smile. Kai on the other hand seemed quite happy, especially with all the excitement that was going on around him.

Hikaru was happy to see all of them safe, getting up and going over to Alex with a smile on his face. "You boys really make me worry sometimes," he said while giggling a bit.

Rafe went over to Roan with Kai and gave the baby to him before sitting down beside them on the bed. He would give him a hug after he (Roan) gave Kai some attention. He was still smiling due to the happy sight of them being reunited and also because he was able to retrieve him without much incident and also without either him or Alex getting hurt.

Alex wrapped an arm around Hikaru when he came over to him and smiled at the happy sight in front of them. “Sorry that I worried you but neither of us got injured and Kai is fine,” he said in reply to what he said before giving him a soft kiss on the forehead.
