I am:
-A semi to lit roleplayer. My grammar and spelling are not always perfect but please feel free to correct me because it helps ;)

- very friendly and pretty laid back. I can sometimes be a bit socially awkward because I so very want my roleplay buddies to like me xD I really enjoy conversations about plot and characters and planning.
-Very excitable when it comes to roleplays. I'm not looking for something typical - I like things that inspire the imagination, worlds that breathe, places with secrets and mysteries and creatures that are dangerous and awe-inspiring. I'm looking for adventure, for action, for curses and monsters, forbidden magic and grueling gods hiding in the deep waiting to rise to power once more.

-Comfortable playing either gender. My preference to what gender I play depends very much on the style of role I'm fitting and what I feel like that day. Generally if you have a strong leaning to one gender or another I'm happy to fill out the other role.

-somehow always sucked into dark fantasy. It's my home. My delight for this genre tends to seep into all my plots and posts ^^;

I am looking for:
- a partner who can post, say, two paragraphs or ten lines that I can understand. No text talk or shortening of words or any of that stuff. On the same note, all general roleplay etiquette applies here - no gary or mary stus, powerplaying, bunnying or whatever.

- a partner who is comfortable taking initiative and adding to the plot as they see fit. Please don't be shy! If you have an idea, go for it! One of my favorite things about roleplaying is creating stories with another person and being wonderfully surprised where the story itself goes. For me, it is why I like roleplaying over writing by myself - it is much more exciting to see how my character acts in a situation that even I was not prepared for. I really can't stress this enough!

-someone who doesn't expect their characters to remain pristine and perfect. Seriously. You must be willing to treat your character as a canvas - perhaps they get cursed, or changed, perhaps they become royalty or thieves. Maybe they get scars, maybe they heal them, maybe they walk through the very gates of hell and returned changed. Whatever happens, I really like characters that develop and grow through the course of a roleplay. If you like to play characters that are static like stone sculptures, I am not the roleplay partner for you.

-someone who knows how to have fun with things.

Other info:
-Romance is a sub plot for me. I like it as an ingredient in a story. In this way, romance should grow over time and be believable. I will not roleplay scenarios of instant love-from-above after a day of interacting. When there is romance, I tend to only play mxf scenarios.

-I'm fine with cussing, allure and gore, although I may get a liiiittle squeamish over gore that's really graphic. I'm very laid back with most things so just roleplay as you feel comfortable with.

-Typically I play one main character, and juggle any other characters as is needed, but this is just a preference and I’m open to whatever the roleplay needs.

I've never done one of these before on this site so here goes pretty much everything:

Who am I?
Well, I like to think I'm very friendly and trustworthy. Of course, I'm not you, so I can't make that choice for you, just meet me and see if it's fine or not! I have been writing (stories) for about five years, then rp'ing for about... a year and a half. I've done a lot of different types of rp's, and I'm pretty confidant I can adapt to new ones too. Also, I like to believe I have a life, and most likely won't respond instantly (unless we're both on, then we can back-and-forth). I'd like it if you'd respond at least once a week and I'll try to do the same ^^'. I live in PST... So, yeah.

My skills:
Well, as I said, I've been writing for close to five years so I hope I'm good by now xD. I like to write in paragraphs, and I'm good at descriptions of characters/scenery. I'm fine with people who write one-liners, and with people who write huge, long, crazy, six-paragraph replies. Just don't expect me to give as long of a reply . I normally rp guys, but I have girls too. I'm fine with swearing, in fact, a few of my characters swear often. Most of my characters are teens, but they reflect the age of the other character (as in, I have a 13-year-old, and the other person has a 20-year-old, the 13-year-old will reflect that they're about 18 or so). I'm also totally fine with adjusting the age of my characters to fit the rp. I also suck at a set plot-line, but I am really good at going with the flow. Pretty much every plot twist and idea I'm fine with. I can -and will- follow a plot if you wish, just I'd prefer having fun making it up. Now of course, I've had quite a few rp's sputter and die, but I assure you I will reply when I can. If you do also work for this, then we can go quite far I believe x3. I also kinda suck at cannon characters, they end up warped to fit my vision and are just a ghost of their former selves.

What I am enthusiastic to rp:
-Vampires (NO TWILIGHT. Vampires don't SPARKLE. geez.)
-Adventures
-People with supernatural abilities
-Winged people/angels (fallen or otherwise)
-People with animal ears/tails
-Fighting (not over a love/r, but maybe just for fun or first encounters/show-offs)
-Humans (I prefer supernatural abilities, but humans that ran away are fine, just prefer no regular High-School rp's)

What I will NOT rp:
-Anthro/Furries
-Sex
-Insanity scenes (a few is okay, but seriously. I get that the character is insane, but do they have to murder constantly to prove that?)
-Mary/Gary sues

What I will no doubt instantly love and rp at the moment:
-Anything involving my character Ryder (vampire)
-Dragons (maybe not so much the rider, but can do)
-Semi-lit
-Original ideas (not in a set, fanfiction world, just modern or a warped modern world -sometimes older time frames too)

-at LEAST one post per week. I know some people are but and aren't always on, but this is a good way of rping. I like rping quickly with replies, but I can understand if you have plans.
-posts containing 4 sentences, at least. (writer's block is understandable, just let me know)

Looking for a RP partner, obviously. Not sure what else to say about that so I'll just go ahead and get down to specifics.

About:

- I'm semi-literate, I guess you could say. I usually write 3-4 paragraph replies, a majority of it being dialogue, so...
- On that topic, it's easier for me to do so if you both help progress the plot, and try to make multipara replies as well. I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO MATCH MY REPLY LENGTH, but if you could do something beyond just a few lines, it would be deeply appreciated.
- I've had a few year's worth of RP experience so I know my basic boundaries and rules and whatnot. If you would like me to avoid something specific, though, just say so! I'll happily respect your wishes. uvu
- My muse can be fickle. If I don't seem up-to-par with a reply or take a little bit to get to it, I apologize profusely. The humidity here coupled with the heat (i'm used to dry heat not humid heat) is also taking a lot out of me so I apologize for that as well.
- I'M VERY SLOW, AS IN I CANNOT TAKE HINTS/THE OBVIOUS GOES OVER MY HEAD A LOT. You kinda need to spell things out for me sometimes, be it subtly in-RP or via PM.

Hi guys! I'm looking for a 1x1 roleplay, or rather, a bunch! Below is my character, if you're interested in her, she's generally what I use. Though I do have other minor characters I use, I just don't have set forms for them yet.

Name: Shadow (Shadowfang)

Gender: Female

Sexual orientation: There's no real word for it, as with her it's so fluid you can't pin it down. She does not differentiate, and has intimate thoughts about those of any gender, or gender type. She does lean more towards males, or dominant figures, but she isn't picky. She will find anybody attractive.

Romantic orientation: Mostly heterosexual.

Personality: She's very friendly. She absolutely adores being pet, scratched, played with, and snuggled with affection. She is very patient, and will wait years for something. She enjoys being sarcastic, and teasing. She has a small bit of depression, but tries her hardest not to let it affect her, and to be happy. She does not have a tragic back story, she's just a bit lonely sometimes. She likes to make friends, but has a very submissive personality. When she chooses to, she can be very feisty, and usually struggles in those situations because it excites her. She does have an instinctual personality type as well, becoming very feral, flighty, and un-domestic when threatened, excited, or scared. She doesn't like horror movies, or being scared, unless she has a strong male there to protect her. She doesn't like hurting others (Without their consent, or course) And hates seeing her friends sad.

Appearance: She has a soft, round face, a button nose, and low, subtle cheekbones. She has large, deep-set, almond shaped green eyes, her pupils were dilated, giving her an excited look. They were framed with softly curling black eyelashes. Her eyebrows were up, as a perpetual surprised stance. Her pale skin is smooth, and unmarked, save for a few scars. And of course the pink hue that radiates from her face. She has rose-petal pink, bow shaped lips, curving up into a smile. She has long, smooth hair, almost wavy. At the roots of her hair, it's a deep, dark golden brown, which lightened as it grew, until a beautiful, wheat-gold cascade of hair falls around her shoulder blades. She is by no means small, or thin. She has a thicker set, wide hips, and a narrower waist, she isn't chubby either. She has long legs, and a round hind. Though she is slightly short, only breaching about 5'5. She has wide rimmed, black glasses on her face, and any form of ears and tail (Wolf, fox, cat, none, ect) Depending on her mood. A faint, warm scent always hangs around her, like warm milk, sugar in the sunlight, and vanilla.

Crushes: She heavily enjoys the presence of the following: Any of the Amporas/Captors/Zahhaks, Jake/Dirk, Szayel, William T Spears, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Aizen, Claude Faustus, Sebastian Michaelis, Ronald Knox
