On TS2, I had a single person and made her go out at bars and stuff, trying to find her a man. I can't remember his name, but this guy was really, really, really fugly, but he had chemistry with her. I decided to keep looking. Everywhere I went, HE WAS THERE. It was creepy. Finally, they got together. He tried making a toaster pastry and caught himself on fire. I was really mad.

I was playing on TS3, and as I said, I pre-make Sims. I just kick them all into the same neighbourhood, with close houses, turn off aging for a bit, but leave story progression on.

I still remember the NPC's name: Gobias Koffi. [Yes, who the arf would want to marry a bald, be-spectacled man?! No offence, but he looked like an Elder. I didn't care enough to check, but I was horrified by his looks, anyway.]

I had 4 Sims in the same area, 2 males, 2 females. You can expect what I was going to do with them... Soon, I moved in both females so I can accomplish more with a shorter time playing. Once I was done getting them proper jobs at least up to rank 5, I went to deal with the guys, moved both of them in as well.

So, two ladies. Via story progression, and "Check if Single", I found out Aris is in a relationship with him. Okay, cool. Nevermind, I convinced her to break up with him. One day later, it happened AGAIN. Same thing, convinced to breakup. And straight after, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. HE HAS A THING FOR ARIS OR SOMETHING.

I got so pissed, I manually went to said female's household, broke up with Gobias and soured their relationship on purpose. Thinking all was well, I went to play the guys again...

And guess what happened?

... Gobias Koffi made a move on her roommate.

You cannot imagine how flipping frustrated I was.

Ahahaha! I have Twallan's Story Progression mod because the EA one is just a big giant ball of failure, and Gobias Koffi always ends up being the town casanova. :P

Seriously, he is? In all my games, he hasn't done it at all...

I'm really considering on burning him. For some reason, he made a move on my progenitor's son. I mean, I know, EA. But really, this is the first time I've seen a computerized Sim hit on one of the same gender. I was freaked.

Oh, if you take up Sculpturing, you can create Ice sculptures of said Sims... But you'd need to spam Ice crafting for a bit, because you need to make like... 20 or 25 to gain an achievement of Unmeltable.

I have a basement where I put mirrors on the wall surfaces, and a small corner for each Sim in my family. Ice sculptures and 3 paint portraits each. ^.^

I haven't tried the ice sculpting, yet, but I've made it to the top of the Ghost Hunter, Firefighter, and Interior Designer careers. I've also done the Private Investigator, Inventor and Architect careers.

I've only started Private Investigator, but so far, no challenge... I was a bit upset. ^^" Haven't tried out the rest yet, now I just spend my time on building big lots, or just small houses.

Inventor is wicked fun. I ran about blowing bits of town~

I don't even need scrap anymore. Someone parked a nice, shiny Sports Car at the junkyard, and due to chain reactions... Ehehe. XD

OMG that's awesome! I must try that!

I hate how hard it is to get a SimBot without the Lifetime Reward. Heart-Shaped Pink Diamond, ten Lifefruit and Palladium? Are you freaking kidding me?

You need to reach gardening level 7, find a bunch of rare seeds around town, hoping they'll grow into Lifefruit, then raise the Lifefruit until you have ten of them. Then you need to go scouring the town for Palladium which is super-rare and hard to find. Then you need to find a Pink Diamond which is even rarer. Then you need to find ten different kinds of gems around town to achieve the Skill Goal that unlocks the heart-shaped cut, then you need to send the diamond off to be cut into a heart shape and wait for it to be sent back to you...

Scrap gathering is evil, I swear. My last Inventor finally managed to level up to the detonation ability. I leave my families on high free will all the time, so my Inventor (Who was also Evil. >.>) ran around blowing up cars and park equipment. He also kept blowing himself up, because the fuse took too long to kaboom. I'm pretty sure he scorched a couple NPCs in the area. It was total chaos. Although.... That's kinda fun, too. :srs:

Does anyone else have the World Adventures EP as well? I get way too much enjoyment sending my Sims around the globe. It makes robot-creating easier. Additional worlds mean more chance of getting Pink Diamonds, and sometime you find one already Heart-cut in a tomb. And I know of more than one tomb that has Life Fruit.
Of course, this implies that you have the simoleons to travel... :headdesk:

I have all the expansions and stuff packs for TS3 so far. ^-^

WA was fun for about ten minutes, but I lost interest quickly. It's too adventure-based for me. If I wanted to play an RPG, I'd play Final Fantasy. I like my "virtual dollhouse" and the giant sandbox style of playing that The Sims has always offered.

I normally don't go on vacation unless I need my Sims to go somewhere for a story plot I'm working on. I've had the WA expansion since it came out and I STILL have not been to Egypt.

I'm completely immersed in Ambitions right now. I have waaaayyyy too much fun doing laundry, I swear. >.<

As for the Inventor career, I found out the hard way that it's useful to have another Sim in the household. I had an Inventor couple who were married and the wife accidentally set herself on fire while her husband was digging through the junk yard for scrap. I had to immediately send him home to put her out and he almost didn't make it in time. *shudder*

Since then, I've made sure to keep them both in the house while inventing. That way, they can put each other out right away if one of them catches on fire... which they often did.
