Simmer Since: Sims 1. I was about... 8-9 years old XD
Why Do You Love The Sims?: because it's fun :wee:! hmm... I love the fantasy stuff, that was origionally what got me into sims. Then there was the house building, but when Sims2 came out it was all about genetics.
Your Favourite Simming Experience: Sims 1 Making Magic game. I was so looking forward to the Sims2 magic expansion, but it was nowhere near as good! I'm also annoyed they never released a Superstar Expansion for 2. I haven't got Sims 3 yet because I thought they removed some of the fantasy componenets - maybe they have/will make/made a superstar expansion... also, custom content for the win.
Your Worst Simming Experience: Ugh, so many, but they were funny in their own right. My pet meeve is when Sims don't sleep in their own bed. Srsly annoying.
Which Sims Games Do You Play?: Sims 2 now. I have Sim City buuut... I don't like it that much. Oh! Love Urbz. Urbz = win.
Anything Else You'd Like To Share/Add?: I have a neighbourhood filled with green people from one family :woo:

Hi Swho!

I love TS3 because Sims recognize which bed is theirs and only sleep in that bed. Once a Sim sleeps in an unclaimed bed, the game labels it as belonging to that Sim and no one else will try to sleep in it. You can still direct Sims to sleep in each other's beds, though. They just won't do it autonomously.

Simmer Since: a loooong long time. i started playing the really early sims games - like sim safari, sim town etc, and progressed to The Sims 1, Sims 2 and now Sims 3
Why Do You Love The Sims?: I love making them accomplish skills, and then cooking amazing things or having an amazing garden. I'm a completionist (just look at my keep).. TS3 is workng well for me with all the hobbies and such
Your Favourite Simming Experience: favourite? i loved the pets in TS2 - i loved that they had little quirky personalities and found them very realistic. I work as a vet nurse so animal behaviour is part of my life and i loved playing with it. I also love the magic side - the witches, spells, all of that... i miss it in sims 3 but it changes the game so much, i dont think they'll add it in ever.
Your Worst Simming Experience: the game crashing, and me realising that during my 4-5hr+ play i forgot to save... this happened many times before i got into a habit of saving every sim day or two.
Which Sims Games Do You Play?: at the moment just TS3 on my mac. My PC has decided it doesnt have a CD/DVD drive so i cant load my TS2. The PC has been banished from my room as punishment. looking at it all the time was making me sad
Anything Else You'd Like To Share/Add?:
When i said i was a completionist i meant it. I bought every expansion for TS1, and every expansion and stuff pack for TS2. I only have TS3 without any expansions because i'm worried my laptop wont cope with all of them, and i'm willing to hang out until the pets expansion for TS3 (as if they wouldnt make it.. pets and animals open up a huge variety of interactive hobbies and careers).

I have TS1 and all the expansions as well. I have TS2 and all the expansions except Bon Voyage and Open for Business since I played them and didn't really care for them that much. I have TS3 along with World Adventures, High-End Loft Stuff and Ambitions. I love Ambitions so much, but I really hope Pets comes soon.

I completely agree about Makin' Magic. For the longest time, it was my favourite expansion for The Sims franchise ever, until Ambitions came out. I was so upset when they just shoved witches into the Apartment Life expansion for TS2 as an afterthought. Did not measure up to Makin' Magic at all.

I'm also a writer, so my hobby is writing stories about my Sims. I blog about the challenges I play and have family trees posted for all the characters and everything. I've been neglecting the blog lately, though. I just haven't had the Simming or writing urge, but I expect I'll be posting new chapters shortly. I'm determined to finish my Legacy Challenge.

I love comments. <3
I spent an hour or two reading your legacies, and your writing is great. I've read the Coin Legacy, and on Chapter 10 Gen 1 on the Charms. I like the way you portray your characters, they're very realistic. In contrast to mine, my Sims usually have their lives planned out for them prior to making already, and most of them are perfectionists.

While I would try the Legacy gameplay for real, though I doubt I would keep track of the 'points', one of my biggest peeves is having to marry an NPC character. I cannot stand marrying them, as I said, most of my families are planned, so I create another Sim specifically to fill this role. Randomizing their traits sounds fun, I might try it out sometime...

I guess I'm more of a builder than a player.

Thanks. :) I'm glad you enjoy my stories.

I lost track of my points for the Charms ages ago. After so many glitches, causing me to lose almost all the portraits (which are worth points) and having to restart in a new neighbourhood, things got kind of jumbled. I've also broken a tonne of rules, so the Charm Legacy isn't really a legacy challenge, anymore, but people love the Charms and want more of them, so I'm finishing the legacy, anyway.

I'm trying to keep track of the points for the Coin Legacy, though.

I know what you mean about marrying an NPC. :/ I think the people at EA who created the premade Sims for TS3 deliberately went out of their way to create the fugliest town they could possibly think of... I thought nothing could be worse than the premade Sims in Sunset Valley, but Twinbrook is even worse. Thankfully, most of the Sims are decent-looking in Riverview.

If you love building in TS3, then you'll love the Architectural Designer career in Ambitions. Your whole work day is spent renovating and upgrading peoples' homes.

I have to agree with you there; the NPCs are odd-looking. The other day I hired a babysitter in Twinbrook for my single-parent and toddler family, and the teenager who appears has crazy dyed hair. It was interesting to check up on them and watch him methodically pick up all the toys I'd left out for the baby while listening to electronica. I guess he's Twinbrook's resident sitter?

:yey: I am super excited about trying the Architectural Design career. Trying to build up my Architect's Charisma skill before I take on any clients.
