yes.. Gordon Freeman is from Half-life.. Black Mesa... and he was the one who discovered portal technology- and it's consiquences a day before Aperture did ^^

SO today we learned the wavelength symbol in science. After the bell rang, I put a circle around it and made it the Half-Life symbol. No one understood it.

Did you know, when you're escaping from level 19 in original Portal, when you reach the room where you have to go through the two giant fans? When you get onto the bridge, go into the staff area. Once through the door look directly to your right and on a screen there's a PowerPoint presentation about Black Mesa and Aperture

There's actually two places after escaping level 19 that I've seen those PowerPoint presentations. I think the other is the long hallway before getting to GLaDOS... sorry, don't have more details.

While there are a few things I don't agree with about that statement, the first thing that popped into my mind was that GlaDOS would very much not approve.

that's technically called the 'Lambada' Symbol- as Lambada was the name of the labratory that the original Half-Life

I knew about the powerpoint presentation.. they basically say that Black Mesa is a money grabbing company stealing all of Aperture's cash :/ it kinda is, though Mesa doesn't spend all their money on moon rocks...
