New Creatures
First of all, you may have noticed that the Crystalwings are gone from the Donation Shop. In their place are two brand new creatures! If you would like to see them, head over to the Donation Shop.

1,000 Member Celebration
Hey folks, today we got our thousandth member! In a rapidly growing site like this one, every member counts; this is a big milestone. To celebrate this, we are going to have a competition!

Congratulations to our thousandth member, Tsukuyomi13. You get a prize of 1,000 gold.

The competition will last three days, and will be officially over at 12:00 noon (eastern time) on wednesday. All submissions after 12:00 noon will be disregarded.

To participate in the competition, take a photograph of yourself that includes the following:

• "1,000"
• Your username
• "MagiStream"

All submissions should go into the Competition Entry forum as a new thread. You can also comment on the submissions of others.

You may make as many submissions as you want, however only the first submission will count.
The no-edit rule has been removed.

Now, for the prizes...

• Every member who enters the competition will receive a participation prize of 1,000 gold.
• The entry judged as "most amusing" by the staff will warrant an award of 3,000 gold.
• The entry judged as "most creative" by the staff will warrant an award of 3,000 gold.

Note: some level of effort must be evident.

i'm very uncomfortable with putting photos of myself on the internets... so this competition isn't for me, but good luck to all who enter

You can always cover your face with the paper. All that really needs to be shown are the fingers holding it up .

I'm not much for putting pictures of myself up either, but there are probably plenty of ways to be in the picture without actually being in the picture. -starts scheming-

So, what happens to the Competitio Board after the competition? Or will there be regular competitions here as such?

hmm... fingers as the bare minimum? i might give it a try then picture quality won't be the best as all i have is my phone's camera
