The name changes are a very important part of the upcoming feature, so trust me when I say you will eventually be glad this happened.

Official names for different colors in a species will make communicating easier.

I like this.... It shows up on the eggs, if you look. Tells you which variant it is... Cool.
I think it's a good thing that the color variants have official names, that should make it a lot easier to trade for varieties.

I don't think there's actually a new creature name that I dislike. Well done.
...Though it does make me wish there were also non-pygmy Gemdragons now. *ducks*

And the simple change in the cats' names? Anyone?

Elks have 'chain' and 'bell' That's good
Razan cobras have Southern and Northern
Olive/Brown/? Amagnae
Umber/Fire Arkai
Swallowtail/Monarch/Birdwing Lunestre Dragon
And the valentine pink mohlaris elephant now reads 'pink' in it

These names are great
So many of the other creatures have differentiated names, this is perfect!
