You don't have your own computer? That sucks even more since that means you can't use GIMP for it and Paint messes everything up for you. Are there any other art programs on there or is that one the only one?

I have an app on my phone that's called ArtStudio- since I have an iPhone, I got the free version, but on Android you generally get all apps for free. Also, I really like it, it's got layers and all kinds of neat stuff- for an app, however, the bigger the screen and if you have a stylus, the better. Other than that, I'm not sure of other good ones. :3

I don´t have a tablet like that so I have no idea, sorry. I think I tried drawing on one owned by a friend and have to admit that I don´t think it´s very suited to creating art...perhaps with lots and lots of practice but it´s a lot harder than it would be on a computer.kissxmexwell06 wrote:I just got an android tablet what is a good art program for it?

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a good way of saving things with Paint, no idea why it acts up on both png and gif, I only had problems with one of them usually. The portable version of GIMP sounds most promising in that regard I think. =)

As always I have planned things last minute and so I can just hope things work out as I hope they will xD Some things will only be fully available after a few days, I first have to see if the ratios I set are ok or if they need to be tweaked.
This years game is somewhat simpler due to me not having as much time but I hope you´ll enjoy it anyway!

You stand at the gate of the Keep watching snowflakes drifting down to the ground. It has been snowing for days and everything is covered by a white blanket. Up in the air ice phoenixes and gryphons can be seen soaring and trying to outdo each other with their aerial acrobatics. You huddle deeper in your warm coat and begin to walk towards the near village. The people there have asked for help with a group of snowdragons that has been doing mischief ever since the first snowfall started. They keep piling up huge snowdrifts all around the village, effectively cutting it off from the outside world. You promised to try your best to make them leave or at least help with your magic to melt the snowdrifts. As you draw near you can see that the problem is as bad as they described, the path is fully blocked. Stepping closer in order to melt the snowdrift you are suddenly showered with bits of snow and ice as the snowdrift turns out to be one of the mischievous dragons which grins at you and bounds away.
To buy or sell something please post like this (if you add it to a post where you also clear a snowdrift you can leave out the username):

A nicely wrapped parcel, what could be inside?
Like the cocoa you cannot use this item for yourself, only gift it to others. It contains a random item or 3 to 5 coins. Same way of posting as with the Cocoa. Due to you needing one of these for creating the essence of winter you can now buy them for yourself as well, you just cannot open them.

SELLING SHOVELS to the shop:
As some of you have quite a number of shovels and the poor vendor doesn´t really know what to do with so many of them once the snowdrifts are all cleared there will be a staggered price for them.
For every two shovels sold to him he will pay 1 coin less (the minimum is 1 coin), so:
2 shovels: 8 coins each
3rd/4th shovel: 7 coins each
5th/6th shovel: 6 coins each
and so on
E.g. if you sold him 10 shovels you would get: 2x8+2x7+2x6+2x5+2x4 coins = 60 coins

Stories about these cats say that their ancestor had such a great love for candycanes and ate so many that his fur took on the unusual coloration typical for these felines. Regardless of whether or not this story is true you should be careful to hide your stash of candies when one of them is around.

There will be 24 snowdrifts each day (a new day starts at midnight EST)and you will be able to clear one of them every day (each snowdrift can be cleared several persons, so if everyone decided to clear snowdrift number 4 that would not be a problem, I want to keep this open to as many players as possible). There are several things that might happen:
- the snowdrift turns out to be a snowdragon (meaning you can not collect anything from it)
- you find something inside the snowdrift that you can collect
- you find something inside the snowdrift that you can use
- you find some coins
Items that you can use are:
bobble hat, gloves or a scarf: these will allow you to clear one additional snowdrift when you use them
a shovel: this will allow you to clear one additional snowdrift each day as long as you own it, it has a small chance of breaking every time you use it
a snowball: you can throw snowballs at other players, there is the possibility that player will drop some coins (these coins will not actually come from that player, they are randomly generated to prevent a single person to be targeted and “robbed” by several others)
There will be a shop where you can sell and buy items but before I can set prices for that I have to see how fast you will find those coins. Prices in this shop may change when I tweak the ratios for the rarity of the different items.
Items that have no direct use right now might have one later, also holding on to some of the usable items just in case might be a good idea ;)
To clear a snowdrift please post like this:
