Wow....that's a new one...in his werewolf, is he like one of the creatures of magistream? Or just a regular werewolf?

@Lunaheart: Nah, he's like a regular werewolf - hairy, yellow-eyed, large, uncontrollable etc...

Chapter 17: Memories from the Past
Tujik didn't seem to hear April as he jogged away, heading for the village. The water Magi sighed, standing up and looking around. Deathdrop was already occupied with some creatures in a patch of flowers. Pomegranate and Starfruit chirped from April's shoulders, reminding the Magi of their presence. Falcon leaped out of her hood and bounced over to some other antelope hare jackalopes, mingling with them and making a happy chirp-like noise.

April walked out behind her Keep and looked around for one of her gryphons. Pookie, the water Magi's first gryphon, noticed her Magi and jumped up excitedly, trotting over happily.

"Hey girl." April smiled, patting her companion gently. "Wanna come with me to the Keep? I think Master Belmos is taking students out for their first egg today."

The gryphon nodded her head and chirped. "Great, let's go!"

Just as the water Magi mounted her gryphon, a ball of white fur hurled itself at April. She looked down in her lap to see a white winged cat lying there in content, her tail swishing back and forth. "Hi, Buttercream. You wanna come too?"

The creamy feline meowed in response as Pookie took off, the three heading for the Keep quickly but at a steady pace. April looked down at the ocean below them, wishing she could swim with the leviathans and narwhals in the blue water. Sighing, she rested her head against her gryphon and clutched her winged cat closer to her before the water Magi fell asleep.

April opened her eyes as Pookie landed, the gryphon skidding to a halt just beside the Stream. She could hear the students gasping and laughing, splashing in the water and whining as they looked for an egg.

April smiled.

Dismounting Pookie, the water Magi kept a close eye on her gryphon as they neared the students. Buttercream rested in her arms, her tail swishing back and forth hypnotically. Master Belmos looked at April as she approached him, smiling and embracing her warmly.

"April! What are you doing out here?"

"I came to see the students collect their first egg." April smiled, turning to look at the students and examining the eggs that they snatched from afar. One little boy even came up to her and showed her his egg - one that looked as if it were a seed. The water Magi gasped in amazement, laughing at the little boy's smile as he walked off to join the others that had already found an egg.

One student, though, sat by the Stream in silence. Her clear gaze was quiet and shy as she stared at the water, uninterested. April tilted her head in confusion, walking over to the girl and letting Buttercream onto her shoulders. The water Magi sat next to her, putting an arm around the girl and hugging her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" April's voice was strong and melodic, but soft.

"Nothing. It's just...everyone else has a cool egg, and all I've got is this." The little girl held up a plain white sphere. April smiled - that was an Ashevor egg.

"Don't worry, that will hatch into something more extravagant than it appears."

Master Belmos called for all the students to go inside, and April knew what was going to happen next. They were going to be assigned their classes. The water Magi stood up, trotting back over to Pookie and Master Belmos as they all went inside.

Awww, she's encouraging them! How sweet!

I don't have time to read it all tonight - but the first couple parts of the first chapter that I read where really really good!!!! Your a very talented writer and I will look forward to reading all of your story!!! You have also giving me inspiration to do more writing myself!
