I know it is A) not 2022 and B) not November, but I spotted this and wanted to wave to a fellow NaNoWriMo do-er! Did you write this year, too? Personally I intend to participate this year, but find myself completely unprepared as I still have yet to come up with a novel idea I'm enamored by, even though the month has started, oops

Eyy, hello there fellow NaNo-er! I did write this year, though I used it more as a way to get myself writing every day, and ended with a whopping like 7k-ish words? I have since fallen off the wagon again, but I'm hoping to pick up the writing paces again in the coming months. I wanted to try my hand at writing a fantasy voyage adventure story a la voyage of the unicorn and voyage of the dawn treader. It was quite fun! Probably why I was able to finish it lol. I think I might try to polish up some old fanfics now…
dust with a meaning, precious and rare Well, it started as a riff on the current fantasy trend of fairy tale retellings with fae who are just hotter, more powerful humans, wherein I attempted to make the fae hotter and more powerful but uncanny humans. Then when I had trouble with that story I started working on a dragonriders story that unashamedly plays that genre mostly straight. I also wrote an opening to a romance novel but I don't necessarily intend to keep working on that. Also some flash fiction.
