Humans are strange. You can grow and learn and thrive. You can live and laugh and love. You can ban together and build each other up. Or you can do just the opposite. Humans are caring, but despondent. Nurturing, but neglectful. Loving, but hateful. You are so much, yet so little. You build, and destroy. Are generous, but greedy. Your beliefs can free you, or entrap you.

So, little human. Which will you be?

The boy stared at the huge, blazing dragon, it's wings swirling in the flames of as many colors as there are in the universe. He could not talk for a moment, as the sheer sight took his breath away, but at last managed to put a voice to his presence "Is there a choice?" He muttered, his voice seeming like a mouse squeak after the deep, thunderous voice of the dragon "If we are all inherently contradictions in on ourselves, is there really a true choice in the matter?" He asked, then shrunk back a little, expecting to be yelled at much like his own village does whenever he expresses even a little bit of his mind.

Looking down at the human before them, so young yet so so hurt, the dragon agreed. "Well done, an intelligent answer for someone as young as yourself. Care to say more on the matter?" The great beast lowered themselves to eye level, waiting for an answer.

The boys eyes lowered at the movement of the great dragon. His eyes shut briefly as he spoke- voice shaking slightly. "But, But, if we truly are contradictions to ourselves- to say we have no choice would be a lie. Being what we are, we can chose to be something else- to have a choice- right?" He was unsure, was he even making sense? Or simply spouting nonsense in hopes to appease the mighty dragon?

Light hoof steps of a horse could be heard in the distance, though just barely through the dragon's heavy breathing. She heard the dragons heavy breathing, realizing she could hear what was going on she stepped a bit further. Her black coat did her no justice when it came to hiding in the day. She slightly spread her wings out ready to fly out of there in at any second. (its short but do what ever you want to this horse )

Luckily for the horse, the dragon didn't notice her. But unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the boy. The dragon was still staring at the boy, their tail now curling around his small form. "Perhaps. Of course, your small mind cannot comprehend it. Your form would be erased from existence once you even try it." The dragon grinned, a smile full of danger and death. "But let's say you could. What creature would you be?" The dragon was now toying with the boy, not unlike a cat playing with a mouse moments before eating it. Which was what the dragon would do with the boy, once he was done.

The boy tried to think of an answer to this question. He didn’t want to die yet. The only thing he could hear was the dragon’s warm breath, and the pounding of his own heart. He felt a wave of fear start to choke him, and he stumbled over his words. He looked up and saw that the dragon was looking at him, amused. He could feel the dragon’s tail curling tighter and tighter around his waist. ‘My life could end right here.’ thought the boy, fighting to control his panic.

"Well, human? Anything to say, or can I eat you up?" The dragon sat up, lifting his tail with the boy still bound by it. He looked ready to eat the small child. "My patience is thinning, and my hunger is growing. Answer soon, or you'll be my next meal."

The boy shivered from the top of his head to his toes. "What would you like?" The boy prepared himself to to a hard task as he was sure the dragon would gobble him up if he didn't complete his task which was probably the end of the world for him.

"Ah, so you are smarter than you look, young one. Maybe I won't be so quick to eat you up." It grinned, spreading its wings and taking flight, still carrying the boy. They soared above many different settlements and villages; and at one point, the village that the boy lived in.
