My trades keep switching between puzzle slide and solid black.

I keep getting logged out at random. Been right in the middle of typing a post and I'll be logged out when I submit it. Clicking creatures and, boom, logged out. Sounds like some sort of error to me, or am I just missing something.
For those who might think it, yes, I've cleared my browser history and cache, and even restarted the browser and computer both. Still happens rather frequently regardless of what I do.

I am new - already experiencing some possible bugs?

1. I'm not sure if this is normal for Magistream or not but I had to wait weeks to receive an email to activate my account. I was wondering if I would ever be able to play

2. Now that I'm activated, I can't trade anyone. There's a blank setup on the trading page but there are literally no ways to add pets on either side.

Can anyone help?

About #2 - you can;t trade live eggs....

Why do no options to add pets on either side appear though (not just mine)?
Say for example if someone is giving away free pets, do I have to just message them about it or should it be possible to send a trade asking for the "free pet".

Not sure what you mean by nothing showing on their side unless all they have are live eggs too?

And most people giving away critters usually have a giveaway thread or a note on their profile that it is okay to PM them about a giveaway. It is against the rules to ask for critters if there is no mention of it being okay to do so or to PM them rather than posting in their thread.

Do you mean to trades? You can only add things to your side of a trade. MS isn't set up like Chicken Smoothie were you can add creatures belonging to your trade partner into a trade. They have to do that.
If someone is giving away free pets generally you post in the thread about it asking and they'll send one (since they'll usually have threads set up for this sort of thing and link to the giveaway tab).
If they don't have a thread but have a tab/something in their profile or signature that indicates they're giving stuff away then your best bet is to PM them first about it.
