No flame-baiting, please

On another note, being logged out at random is still an ongoing issue. Being logged out after a mere half minute of being online is incredibly annoying.

Still no word on why people aren't getting their registration e-mails sent to them, to activate their accounts? My friend and two other users' sisters are still waiting, no word from staff on the issue either...

you are probably correct, and i apologize for my postings. since i have a work-around, it works out all right.

there are others (yourself included) with much more pressing, frustrating errors.

Naming Issue

Post by GayScreeching »

I'm currently unable to name any of my creatures and I'm unsure why? Whenever I try it just gives me the message of "No creature specified." and leaves whichever creature I was trying to name, unnamed.

Which browser and operating system are you using, and do you have any ad blockers or antivirus programs installed? Does this happen on all devices/browsers or just on a specific one? Are you using the naming link on a keep page (main tab or another tab?) or on a creature's specific page? Does freezing or releasing work?

A similar thing has happened for a few people before, but I've been unable to reproduce the issue, so the cause and thus fix is still unknown, so that's why so many additional questions. I'm trying to pinpoint what's causing this.

I'm using chrome on a windows computer, and I don't have ad blocker but I do have an antivirus program. This also happens when I try and do it on mobile and if I try firefox on my pc. I've been using the naming link from the creature's specific page. Both freezing and releasing does work.

I'm more than happy to answer all the questions I can cause I'd like to get the problem fixed since it's been plaguing me for a few days now.

Oh, and does the naming issue affect all your creatures, or just some? And if you have a named creature are you able to rename it?

The naming issue affects all of my unnamed creatures as far as I can tell and I don't currently have enough gold to test the renaming theory,

The Snow Hare, creature #952. On it's actual page says that it is Obtained from: Stream (uncommon). However, if you go to the main Bestiary search and look up the Snow Hare, on that particular search page it is classified as Event, Winter Solstice.
