No you don't have to release any - right now the live egg limit is 7 for regular (non doni) eggs.

I've had the lag too and ended up with 9 stream eggs, I just froze 2 of them but it seems like the stream is being buggy.

What I do to try and avoid that is if the page loads slower than usual (lags) and gives you the someone else got the egg message I usually wait about a minute then refresh my keep page. That way I don't have to sometimes choose which egg to freeze.

And here I thought this may have been my internet.. I currently also got 9 eggs because of that lag issue.

I'm not sure if this is where I should report this, but currently I have six eggs. I went to pick up another from the stream, but it wouldn't let me, saying that I have a full seven eggs. I have looked and picked through my whole keep, and I cannot find this mysterious seventh egg.

Can anyone please help fix this, I'm getting really frustrated with this.

Update: I managed to fix the problem but now somehow I managed to pick up an eighth egg.

Actually you have 1 too many live eggs in your hatchery tab - there are 8 in there.

Yeah I just saw that. I'm so confused with what's going on today,,,,

The stream is lagging really bad again - makes you think you didn't get the egg when you actually did.
