Hello fellow Magis!

Okay, so I have no idea whats been up with magistream the past few months, but I decided to finally make a post about this.

CONSTANTLY, when I try to do ANYTHING, I'll get this "Bad Gateway 502 error" message, and I'll either have to reload the page or go back a page and hope that it goes away...

It used to be fairly rare, but my God, the past fed months, out of 10 times I change the page ( click on a creature, go to a forum, try to copy egg links etc) I get this at least twice.

Not just that, but magistream has been SO SLOW AND LAGGY, which is the main reason im barely online here anymore, it's horrible.

I click "the keep" - wait 20 seconds - click on "embed multiple" - wait 20 seconds- then it takes about 40 sec to even load the eggs and hatchlings, I must click "toggle all" several times before it does it.

And my God Posting codes is even worse now.

It's not a phone or wifi related issue, as I've tried different devices (phones, surfaces, laptops etc) as well as different wifis and Hotspots/mobile data. It's really become so bad that I only log in for events, grab 5 eggs and leave.

Does anyone else experience this issue? Like stated above, it's been this way for me for many months now.

Yes, it’s happening to everyone unfortunately. It’s the website and not on your end.

I've noticed too and its honestly really annoying. >_<

Is this a known issue to the devs?

i think before the thanksgiving event, rosehill made a post saying they did something to prevent the site lagging

i think whatever was done then made it worse, site never lagged like this before whatever they did to prevent it

Yes, it is the same for me, as well (Germany here, don't know if this is relevant)
The loading times are abysmal and gifting doesn't work smoothly, as well. I get error-messages all the time.

JUpp, also germany here, first it takes ages to load a site, then it is error 502, so you need to load that site again...and if it loads, most images just show up as "blank squares with an "image" as text on the right side of that blank square image..." and no matter how often i reload the site, some images still wont show up...and the error 502 shows up after nearly every second reload...

Rosehill is aware of the issue and is trying to fix it, but doesn't seem to experience the issue as much herself, which is making it harder for her to pin it down.

Ah I thought it's just me ; o ;

it feels like the server's dying.
