Hey, how do I open presents? it says I can't open them yet, do I need to give one person a present first?

While gifting is still available, presents can't be opened. I don't know when exactly Halloween gifting has closed in the past (this is my first MS event lol) but I can't imagine it would be any longer than a week into November.
edit: from what I can tell unwrapping starts the 31st/1st :roll:
