Pricing?

Post by FireHeartWindy »

What's the rule of thumb for selling creatures? Does it effect the value if its from a retired event? How much would be taken off if it were 1st or 2nd generation? Sorry for all the questions haha, it's been a long while since I've pondered selling things.

Rule of thumb, there is none. It's what you value the creature at. You can always check what Master Belmos prices stuff at if you want a ballpark, but that's more a baseline than a set value. You can sell your creatures for whatever you want to sell them for, so long as it is a fair price for you as the seller and the buyer. Typically, high-value creatures that are sold for very little are flagged to avoid new players who don't know values well from getting taken advantage of. As for bred creatures typically, how I do it, 1rst gen is 1/2 price of a parentless, and then around 5-5,000 less for each additional gen depending on the creature. Retired creatures get about 5K added to their price for each month they've been retired. So a 2-shard doni at 50K a shard, that's 10 months retired, would be 150K. Again, that's me.

Totally agree with what Ayakashi said. I also sometimes check LTB threads, especially for current event critters, and price competitively, or sell to whoever is offering the best price. :)
