Breeding & eggs

Post by AliceRose »

I am the only one who suffers of infertile critters? Or uninterested ones?
It's just so hard to get an egg! Sometimes I end up breeding a whole tab and NOTHING. It's just how it's supposed to be? Can we have some fertile potions? That would be pretty nice :P

Do I look lonely
I see the shadows on my face
People have told me
I don't look the same

Want breeding frustration? Trying breeding a bunch of emerald wyverns....I think I have about 12 pairs or so and do good to get 1 egg maybe every third time I go through my tab they are in. Once in a blue moon I get 2 eggs - about fall off my chair when that happens lol.

When I have other critters that don't want to cooperate I just blame it on that they snuck into the wyvern tab and the emeralds were a bad influence.

But seriously it is just some creatures are easier to breed than others.

There's a few very stubborn critters. The Emerald Wyverns are super stubborn, as are the Citelllans and Pandorums. They never wanna give me an egg.

Of course it only gets worse when there's a gifting event or you're trying to breed for a new hybrid. Suddenly, nothing wants to breed. :derp:

Exactly! I don't know how many failed attempts I had, before getting the new Hippogryphs. It's like they KNOW.

Wait, is there really a difference between creatures in interest? Does it all depend on species or can it affect individuals as well?

I think it was based on species. Some species are more willing to breed and produce and egg than others. :/ Which is why Emerald Wyverns are known for being VERY stubborn and creatures like Koi Fish breed all the time. XD

MY Nandi bears won't ever breed and I tried breeding a Direwolf with A Manticore but it didn't work

Unless you're aiming for a hybrid. I could never manage to breed those stupid koi when going for Capris. Same with my ibex for, anything that need ibex. :derp:
