Quick question about lineages

Postby TNHawke » June 13th, 2011, 12:22:34 am

I heard a rumor that the borked lineages have been removed and we can start remaking them now. I couldn't find a thread about this though. (if I just missed it, please post a link)

My problem is I have two Krakens that are currently named "unnamed Hero Of The Day", because they kind of survived the Crash- but are now parentless and dateless. I haven't tried to remake the family yet, because I would like to use those two as my progenitors, but I'd need their name fixed.

Can anyone give me any information about the progress we've had on getting the lineages fixed? or what to do about the borked names?
Hawke's IRL fiance, Lunaroki, suffered a massive stroke and died on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015.

Hawke needs to concentrate on other things, and is leaving MS permanently.

Thank you all for many fun years.

The lineages I had that were screwed no longer exist.

As for the names, I would suggest PMing Tristan and asking him to get rid of their names so you can rename them; I think (and mind you this is only what I think) he would be willing to do that.
Working on getting back into things after a forced hiatus.

I was able to remake mine, so looks like most have been removed so we can remake them.

This post is copied from Magistream Families Master List

HoukaRyuu wrote:As far as I can tell, the lineages from #8464 to #9465 has been deleted from the MagiStream Database. That means you can now re-create your lineage that was affected by the recent site outage. However, as far as I know, those lineages will not be deleted from the MagiStream Families Master List (Google Spreadsheet) until they have been re-created by their previous creators before the crash. That way, folks won't complain that their lineage name has been taken by someone else. If you have been able to re-create your lineage, kindly let us know so that the master list can be updated accordingly.

This post shall also be posted in Lost Lineages (Definite List in Progress, Please Move).
