Quest: You need to gather five adult Moss Snails, an adult Ornyx, an adult Manticore, an adult Naricasa Phoenix and and adult Razan Kalistavri before you are ready to go.

To get an Ornyx you have to do the quest HiddenMystic linked. You can get three different creatures from that quest, which one you get depends on how you do the quest as there are multiple choices.

The other quest you're quoting from leads you to finding a Hooded Sliphaeren, you need an Ornyx as one of the creatures to do the quest.

If you don't want to try to get an Ornyx through that first quest, you can buy one in the Merchant District. Or borrow one from CBN's quest help thread in Mercado.
