Waiting for the meds to kick in so my brain shuts down, making the last push for 8k gold to get into the Artificer, aaaaand... watching my puppy do the potty dance trying to get my boyfriend to take him for another walk, even though we just got back and he most definitely does not have to use the potty.

I am feeling grateful tonight, albeit tired. Our community is currently suffering a really bad fire that started last evening at 9. We're also experiencing huge winds (called Santa Anas), which only made the fire worse. Several homes have burned, one person died from a heart-attack, and thousands of acres of brush are now ash.
I am grateful that the winds have driven the smoke and ash away from us, but there are many more who are not as lucky. Thousands have had to evacuate, whole communities worried that they'll come back to rubble and destruction, yet our brave firemen from all over are doing heroic work in keeping hungry flames from devouring precious residences and businesses. Positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Thank-you.

Watching the sun come up and listening to my best friend play some Destiny 2. It's her last night to spend with us since she's moving out of state this coming weekend, so I may have screwed up my sleep schedule just to spend more time with her once I got off of work.
