I will live and die by the Great Performances version of 'Cats' (not the film abomination). It was the right hyperfixation at the right time, and looking back on the many times I watched our crappy VHS recording and tried to dance along, I don't even care how doofy I know I looked.

Ever tried really hard to insert yourself into a subculture you knew nothing about? (i.e., my first abortive attempt at being punk. I was eighteen, just out of high school, I didn't have the money for fancy brand-name punk kit, the DIY skillz to make it myself, or any clue what punk meant beyond angry and intimidating... and I was and am about as intimidating as a fat little kitten)

Not real hard. I was "super" goth in high school. I had the look and the emotion, but all the goth gals in my school were... too dark behavior-wise. They drank, did drugs, slept around, etc., wasn't my thing. I hung out with a group of Disney nerds, lol. I was the dark spot among them, and though they didn't like my art/music/stories/style, we still got along. I just do what I like, especially now.

What's your favorite band? The band that you always go back to no matter what's going on in your life?

i dont have one? i mean, according to my sister more than half of my favorite songs are game songs, like megalovaina, or mantis lords. haha i listen to too many theme songs. i do have a favorite songs tho, would that count? wolf in sheep's clothing is the best and nothing can convince me otherwise.

favorite/least favorite webtoon? or webcomic?

I liked this old one called Super Mario Bros. Z but that was over a decade ago when I still had some vision.

Favorite Olympic Sport.

For now it's figure skating, but if they ever make free-running/parkour an Olympic sport, that could change.

Do you like 'creepy' animals (bats, snakes, rats, etc.)?

Absolutely! I used to want a snake as a child, and as a teen I had a rat. Bats are cute at. I don't care for insects and anything in general that have too many legs. They're fine in theory, but I don't want to hold one.

Do you enjoy spicy foods?

I enjoy spicy foods as long as they have flavor. I like things like chili, and a lot of latin American food that are spicy, but I don't like things that are hot just for heat's sake like fireball candies or famin' hot cheetoes.

What is your favorite grenre of literature.

Didn't expect that one from a guy with "book" in his tame and who names most of his pets after books, did you?

Hmmm... Honestly, I'm really digging zombie-apocalypse books these days (helps me remember that things could be much worse) but I love science fiction, fantasy, and books about monsters, cryptids, and other paranormal stuff (though I headdesk a LOT at the conspiracy-theorist ones).

Ever encountered some kid's efforts to be edgy and just laughed? (like, before Covid I went to the drugstore and in the easter-candy aisle someone'd turned the chocolate crosses upside-down. bruh, you just made 'em more Catholic)
