recently i've become really obsessed with this one song, Read My Mind by the Killers-- specifically the line "I don't shine if you don't shine" gives me so many ideas for a story i want to write. so far, the writing part has not been going well lmao.
but the song still drives me crazy every time!

there are a couple songs i recognize in other people's answers-- you all seem to have good music taste from what i can see!

I'm actually vibing on three different songs right now. One is a kpop song and the other two are covers done by kpop idols.

From Home by NCT U - The melody is such a beautiful thing. It's soothing and relaxing, and it brings a certain piece of mind with it. And, I connect so deeply with the lyrics ever since my mom passed. It's just such a comfort song for me.

Fools by Hwang Renjun original by Troye Sivan - I have listened to both versions of the song, and while I do like Troye's version, Renjun's version just takes the cake for me. His voice just fits the melody so amazingly, and his vibrato as he sings absolutely gives me chills.

I Like Me Better by Jung Jaehyun original by Lauv - Again, this is one of those that I've listened to both versions of the song, and while I do like Lauv's original version, there's just something about listening to Jaehyun sing it that makes me love it even more.

Tour de France Etape 2 by Kraftwerk! It’s the one song I never get tired of.
I also enjoy Bentley’s Gonna Sort You Out by Bentley Rhythm Ace, it has good vibes.
There’s an amazing calm jazz song I love to listen to, but I lost my disc and don’t remember the name.

I really love MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT - Elly Duhé

It's an excellent song, and has also produced some amazing covers by Loveless, Joel Sunny, Power-Haus, Our Last Night, and more. I love hearing other versions of songs I love, and this has produced some great ones.

It is probably The Hitchhiker by Dog Fashion Disco.

I think currently I'm really rocking with "Anywhere but Here" by Pvris, but like in terms of all-timers? Probably "That's what you get" by Paramore or like "Get Outta My Way" by Kylie Minogue, ooh or even "No Me Queda Mas" by Selena-

I have a lot of songs that could easily be my favorite, but most recently I'd have to go with "Kick Back" by Kenshi Yonezu, and it's the opening theme from an anime called Chainsaw Man.
