Paranormal Photography?

Post by Isamalthea »

My fiancee and I have had several talks about the paranormal, both of us having experiences and find paranormal phenomena very intriguing. Recently, he showed me a photograph he took in his basement.
Spoiler
Nobody there smokes, at least not in the house. They can't figure out what it is. By the way, the date is wrong on the camera. This picture was taken about a year ago.
What do you think of this?
Isamalthea wrote:I can assure each and everyone of you, even though all you have to work off of is my word, that this wasn't photo-shopped. My fiancee barely knows how to change his desktop wallpaper. Besides, he's the only that's had access to the picture that I know of. Either way, the picture was kept within the family, and they don't have the resources nor the interest in having any sort of photo-editing software that would make this look the way it is.

Several other pictures were taken with the same camera as well, and there was nothing in them like this, not that I've seen at least, and I've seen his entire collection of pictures.

Besides, what point would there to be to photo-shop a picture and post it like this? Fraud-popularity? Not my thing. The only place this has been posted on was photobucket, and that's so I could post it here.

I'm not quite sure what it is by any standpoint, but it is interesting.

I feel like saying "obvious photoshop is obvious" because it looks so fake. Plus the fact that it's from 8 years ago. :t-shrug:

Something like that could be a camera issue.

Honestly, it looks like something on the camera lens, or a light issue. But I don't believe in ghosts anyway, so I will always be biased. I had a great deal of fun in one of my classes last semester, because we did a segment on ghosts and mediums and pretty much tore it apart.

I don't believe in ghosts either. :t-shrug: It appears that either there was an issue with the camera or the photo was the victim of a crappy photo-shopping.

I've caught photos of orbs on several occasions but I've never photographed that sort of anomaly before. They're not uncommon, though. I've seen several photos like that around the internet and in magazines.

That "smoke" in the photo looks like two adult people. If you look from a certain angle, you will see two heads.
But since it's easy to fake photos now, I'm a bit sceptical. I believe in ghosts, but there's so many faked photos on the Internet.

I'm a believer in ghosts; I'm actually sensitive to them; there are 3 classifications for sensitives and I'm 2 of the 3, but a gift falls under the third as well;

I'm a watcher, a seer, and a crosser (which falls under specialists)

you know a friend of mine showed me pictures that he had taken, it was odd I have seen spirits, It was like in the third grade and we were at girl scout camp, and id woken up thinking my bunk mate had woken, I looked over (I was on the top bunk) and thought I saw someone, but they seemed to glow..so I reached my hand out and it was nothing, but the form was still there. it scared me so bad, especially when I looked at the head of the bunk where I was and saw another of the same shape, the outline of someone like they were standing on the bottom bunk. ill never forget that.
he pushes me away only to find I cling tighter.
howl to the moon. cry to the stars, cuz you know ill come running where ever you are
