You might want to actually read the FAQ provided in the first post of this thread.

You have a username. Everyone who has an account has a username, so all username rules apply to all people who are signed up to the site.

I don't think there is a limit. I mean, I think Master Belmos has near to 100 million gold(Morgaln or another mod can correct me, it was near that number last I heard anyways) so I suspect there really isn't any limit(or it's something insanely high like into the billions).
