Yes so hello I'm not a cook or a baker, I don't own a big kitchen or a wide variety of tools to use, etc. etc. Am just 1 person who lives in a nation where Thanksgiving isn't even a thing. But, well, with so few entries, even my 'lovingly crafted' Frankenstein's monstrosities are probably worth a shot
Yes it's not beautiful or professional
But it sure was tasty!

So, fellow Magi, Winter is coming. We have to try and preserve our resources to last through the cold months, so we ain't making a whole big feast here, but we are going to make a filling one~
What you need for this dish is:
*Rice
*Minced meat {or vegetarian alternative}
*White beans (in tomato sauce in my case)
*Kidney beans (in chili sauce)
*Black beans
*Salsa (homemade or store bought is fine, mine is the later)
*Chili spice
And a deep pan for the sauce & a kettle or whatever or rice cooker for the rice
+ Apple! (and a knife to cut it with, or open that pesky salsa bottle, the basterd)

So, what you wanna do is grab the meat, cook it while you'r mixing it and chopping it smaller with your spatula. Halfway done you'll want to start boiling the rice water if you're using the kettle and add in the rice once water boils. Once the meat it's done you add in your beans, salsa and chili (add as little or as much as you're comfortable with, this is the fire of the beast afterall!), mix it up real good and let it sit for a bit so it's more saucy and less liquidy
Pretty much once that's all done you get a bowl, place rice in and give it some stripes wit the sauce~ Alternately you can just place the rice and sauce in wholely different bowls and mix them at your leisure
As a decorative bonus we have the apple! Any kind is fine as long as you watch your fingers when cutting it as you make the 'mask' and 'horns' of the Heligre. I was hungry ok? It's not very artistic, I just wanted to eat

Assemble and Volá you is done~ Rice for the white fur, spicy yet meaty sauce for stripes and apple for the mask

The rice helps combat the spicy sauce rather nicely, the sweet apple works as the 'green part of the meal' - you can also use cucumbers, but for this purpose, apples are a lot easier to cut into shape. For a drink? It's your choice! I personally prefer milk with spicy food though, it's just so good~

So basically this is Chili con Carne with rice and apple if ya'll want a proper guide

Yes it is awful and doesn't look nearly as good as I imagined or wanted, but... At least it was tasty!!

Oh right the name tag
I already ate 99% of it, but, here's where I took the pic!

Bigger pic for name

And here's the other half of the apple, pic taken on phone instead of camera because I already got up to take that other one I'm tired. The note fell on the floor, I'm not picking that up, I'm eating the food intead

Yeah it's especially good when it's cold outside~ But that's typical for warm foods xD I might try making it again since I do got more of the sauce - if not today then tomorrow~ that was my widest deep bowl though xD

Yeah it's grand xD I dunno if my friend would be able to eat it, although it's not That spicy, tastes better when eaten hot though~
The second attempt looks a bit better too Although first one has better stripes - just didn't have as big of a bowl to use~
