(This is very simple. I will start the story and you guys continue it. I just have 1 rule: pls don't write a novel  )

Torrential rain bucketed down from the sad-looking, cloudy night sky in sheets. Timmy sat drearily on his couch, watching boring TV shows and eating leftover pizza. Rain bounced off the window panes, making an eerie tapping sound, and the hairs on the back of Timmy's neck raised for some unknown reason. He turned off the TV and peered out the window. He was annoyed to see that the front garden he'd worked so hard on that weekend was flooded and muddy, and most of the tulips he'd planted there were uprooted and lay sadly on the sodden ground. Suddenly, the sky was illuminated with white light as lighting forked across the sky. A few seconds later, Timmy heard a rumble of thunder. He shivered. Why did he feel like he was being watched? He decided to go to bed. Later, he lay in bed, unable to sleep. Then, suddenly, he heard a sound downstairs...

It wasn't a loud sound, it sounded like a cat scratching the door. Timmy's first thoughts were that his neighbor's cat managed to enter his house again and was hiding from the rain. But for some reason it didn't feel right. as he was thinking this he heard the sound of the hall door opening and patter of paws upstairs. at this point deep inside he was hoping that it was the cat because a really bad feeling was worming its way into his heart. The next moment the sound stopped right in front of his door. And then it hit him, it felt wrong because the cat was run over by a car three days ago, it was dead and could be here...

Tim's spine tingled. If it wasn't the cat, then what was it? There hadn't been many robberies in his part of town. Before Tim could puzzle out what it was, a searing ache overtook his head. Everything became darker. He felt he saw silhouettes from the corner of his eye.

As he came to he felt like he was lying on a cold, hard stone floor, he heard a sound of water dripping. He continued to listen but all he heard was the constant slow *drip* *drip* *drip*. Timmy very carefully opened his eyes just a tiny bit and tried to look through his eyelashes to see where he was, but all that he saw was pitch black darkness...

He strained his eyes to see. And out of that darkness arose a shape. The shape was thin and blurry. It looked slightly human, but Tim could not tell. He strained his eyes even more to try to see it clearly, but his eyes hurt. They hurt a lot.
Tim could felt something watery on his cheeks. He dared not lift his hand lest the person-the thing saw he was awake.
After a while the thing left. It moved in a slow, unsettling way, almost creeping across the wall. It looked eerie and Tim felt almost paralysed by fear.

As the creature made it's way slowly away from him, only then did he exhale, noticing he was holding his breath for what seemed for over 30 seconds.. Timmy dared not follow it but curiosity overcame him and he found himself slowly and quietly trailing behind the creature...

Timmy made sure to stick close to the walls, taking cautious steps through the dark hall. What are you doing,
stupid?
he cursed at himself as he lost sight of the creature. Tim paused, his heart pulsing loudly in his ears. There was a loud creak of a door behind him, Timmy nearly jumped out of his skin.

"Timmy? What are you doing awake at this hour?" his mother asked from behind him. Timmy turned around, his mouth opened, about to make an excuse. But there was no one there. A scream ripped from his throat as he scrambled backwards, staring at the spot from his mother's voice had come from.
My mom... She's dead too... What's happening?! Timmy thought, his eyes wide. He blinked once, and the strange creature seemed to be at the end of the hall, its head bowed.
