Just out of curiosity, aren't the following the same?

Largest Hatchling Army: Sssasha, 1424
Most amount of mixed species (unfrozen hatchlings): SilentEcho, 856

Record being Updated: Largest Hatchling Army: 1743

(Which would also break the second.. as it's all mixed hatchlings as well xP But I do see both of the records as being the same, unless the user who added it as a record meant something other than an army of mixed unfrozen hatchlings.)

...I actually meant: unfrozen and a lot and a lot of species. If it doesn't count as that Utena can take my record down.

I was just wondering as the amount of various hatchlings I have nears 2000, that includes axolotl, pearlies, sarvain, hummer, flamingos, some donation pets and plenty more x) I had just thought that hatching army meant unfrozen.. as I have no frozen hatchlings whatsoever. ^^ (Well I might have two or three, but I didn't count those ones!)
