Back in my day each home had only one phone. A landline that could not be moved for more than a meter and it came with one set ringtone.

Back in my day, you actually had to get up to change the temperature on the thermostat... assuming your father's sixth sense wouldn't trigger and he'd come rushing to threaten you with a broom if you touched it.

Back in my day we use to climb into our neighbors back yards to play and hope we can escape before our parents realized there were children playing with the neighbors kids in their yard.

Back in my day, you had to get off the Internet if one parent or the other was expecting a phone call, and there was only one computer in the house.
