Ooh, I remembered another question! Will it count aganst us if our descriptions are too long? Is it preferred that we cut them down ourselves, or would the judges/staff select which bits to put into the final thing if we won? ^^;

Here's a question:

I am an artist myself (though I don't sprite), and I tend to be rather... picky... about how my creatures look. How closely involved with the spriters can the winners be? Can they look at 'early drafts' of the sprite and offer feedback, like, "Yeah, that shape looks right" or "No, that's not quite how I imagined it. I imagined it like this..."?

One of my friends requested that I help her do art and wants to do the two person entry. However I also submitted solo work that I'd like MS to also judge. If I help her, would my own entries have to be deleted?

Ah, now I have a new question: With the coming of the new creatures, does this mean that the entries of animals similar to them will be considered null? Say, using my own creature, I submitted a Balam(jaguar) and since one of the new creature is a panther I wasted my time coming up with descriptions..... right? :/ I think MS should've waited to release these until after the contest, but that's just me...

The two creatures I've come up with are both hybrids of existing creatures (i.e., one is direwolf/manticore, the other is winged cat/manticore), is this allowed? And the descriptions of at least one of those would need to...well, paraphrase at the very least, one of the existing creatures descriptions. Is that allowed?
