I walked into the snake room this morning and saw our ball python lying at a weird angle with his head against the wall looking very limp and not moving. He was in the same position yesterday, so I tapped the edge of his enclosure to see if he was okay, and no movement. I watched him for a bit to make sure he was breathing, and nothing. Didn't even move when I reached in to touch him, so I've been debating whether I should call my brother (it's technically his snake), or wait until he gets home and tell him the snake's not doing well. Of course, when I check in again, the damn thing's lifted his head up and flicking his tongue at me like I disturbed his beauty sleep. I'm going to keep an eye on him, but he seems to be fine.

I'm just happy that I'm back into MagiStream. I registered about 1-2 year ago but then stopped because I had to focus on school and other things. Though as much as I love playing this game now, nobody clicks my eggs or hatchlings So I have to wait a long time until I can either get another egg or have another adult so I can breed and hopefully get a new eggo! But either way, this game is fun!

If you have a spray bottle give them a light spray and sprinkle table salt on them....then either let them air dry or pop them in the oven for a bit. Not as good as the presalted ones but beats unsalted...did the same thing a few years back before I pretty well cut out adding salt to anything.

Really not sure what to do right now. On one hand, I'm overjoyed at the thought of not working my current job anymore, but on the other I feel like I'll be letting my boss down especially since it's the busy time of year. Part of me also doesn't give a shit, but that might just be the depression.

I have at least come up with some good reasons to give my boss for leaving. They include wanting a predictable schedule, needing some benefits, and not wanting a job where the cops are called almost every other week. I'm starting to feel a bit unsafe at work and I try to tell myself that I am safe, but in reality I very well could not be. We have some...interesting people. My boss does her best to keep these people out, but I don't enjoy having to really keep an eye open while working and being afraid of someone getting mad when I report rule breaking.

I just don't know. Life isn't where I want it right now.

I lost my little bantam rooster today (well, yesterday, seeing it's 12:30 in the morning now) all because of my damn stupidity. Long story short (and leaving out the horrifying way I found him for the sake of younger members of this site), he ate a string that was still attached on the other end to the source. Please please PLEASE to anyone here who happens to have chickens or other birds, keep fabric away from them. It can have devastating consequences.


He loved to perch on my shoulder like a parrot every chance he got. He was such a little sweetheart. I'll miss him.

From the mentioned reasons,I don't see anything wrong with it. Everyone wants to feel safe at work,and if working there makes you feel unsafe it can be one of the few reasons you feel down. Feeling the need to watch your back all the time is stressful, I don't think relaxing at home would make that stress go away.

The choice is yours but from what I see,you would be doing the right thing if you left.
