Spoiler
My mom's boyfriend passed away this afternoon. He was not sick or anything and was not on any medication. He got a sudden heart attack and passed away almost immediately. He was 59. I was with my mom all this time and just came home. It's a total war zone there. The house belongs to my mom's boyfriend and his two sons and nephew came and told my mom she cannot live there anymore. Their father is still in the morgue. The post-mortem is tomorrow and they are already fighting over property. What kind of children do that? I had to step in and tell them to first think of the funeral and then discuss about house and property. After I left, they had threatened my mom again. Tomorrow I go to the hospital (post-mortem day) and have the body released from hospital. This means, tomorrow is going to be another hell of a fight T_T
im sorry to hear that :t-hugs: at least your mom have a loving daughter she can count on in any situation.

Really wish I could speed up this process of getting some different depression meds. Current psychiatrist won't prescribe me anything different until we meet in person again. I just filled out an online form for a psychiatric practice near my apartment so I won't have to drive over an hour to the one back near my parents' house. It was getting way too hard to schedule appointments with work and I really don't enjoy spending the night at my parents' house to make an early appointment before work. There's a reason I moved out. :derp:

But I seriously need to do something about this depression. I am falling deeper and deeper into it and it's starting to drive me and my boyfriend apart. T_T

Thanks guys :D

Things are sorted out. He had left some things in his will for my mom (property & money), we are writing everything back to his family. We don't want anything. My mom is leaving the house next week and moving in with me. That chapter of her life is over. A new one begins ^_^

Dear burst pipe in my cellar:

Fuck you. I really don't need this so soon after my mum's stroke. I'm home alone, I'm JUST back from the hospital, I can't fix you, go to hell and stop turning the cellar into a swimming pool. I don't have the energy to deal with you.

God.

I was excited to watch this movie in Norwegian and try to pick out some of the dialogue, but I don't think they're using the same version/dialect I'm learning. That or since it's set in 1204, they're using an archaic form I have no chance of understanding.

I've spent 6 hours trying to figure out how to run Dragon Age Inquisition on my mac. I'm about ready to give up because nothing makes sense.

I live in a tiny town with like 3 active pokemon go players and legendaries require like 20 people and it's like how do you expect me to be able to do anything about this!?!?

Really thinking about a new job. I shouldn't be made to feel guilty for taking a Saturday off. :(

I got those especially on days when my Mom had a meltdown. She has MRSA and is suffering from stages of dementia because of it. There are days that she keeps me up either because she is always crying or she is suffering from a massive meltdown. Let me tell you those meltdowns are really bad. So there were days I would have to call in. When summer came and my niece had graduated, I wanted more hours but my manager used my Mom against me for it telling me that he couldn't really offer me the hours because how was he to know when she would have another meltdown.

So I ended up quitting about a week ago. I have another job but I am waiting for the new place to go through its finishing touches before they start training us. They know about my Mom and have told me they will work with me.
