I'm a terrible artist and can't draw or sprite for the life of me. So is it ok if my entry doesn't have any artwork to go with it?

I think so. I hope so. ^^ Mine doesn't have any either, and I've seen a lot without artwork.

Yep, that's fine, it says so in Damien's post. I have no artwork with mine, anyways.

Does one have to write a detailed description that is similar to the ones of the existing creatures or is it enough if we give enough information that a detailed description could be made from it if one has artwork of the creature?
And can the same creature be suggested multiple times by different people(I´ve seen at least two ravens, hydras and gargoyles now and was wondering...)?

I think its all down to you. If you have artwork, then i would assume that it is less important to describe the appearance of the creature and more just its powers and characters.
But i don't know for sure, you'd have to ask the staff.

And the same creature can be suggested by different people.

"Design A Creature" Contest Additional Rules:

- More than one person is allowed to enter the same creature. i.e. User A and User B both enter unique versions of a salamander. Entrants will be judged on originality/uniqueness of their individual entries, not the basic concept.

Fyreheart: There is no official deadline yet. You can submit either or both, it's up to you, and uploading in whatever order is within your discretion. Quality of art is not an issue, because as I said, most likely site artists will make their own version of your creature.
