Ah yes, the butt attack parody of Gilgamesh's legendary move from Fate franchise. Yes, definitely watching Keijo when it finishes. :'D

Meanwhile, it's been two days and I'm still screaming so much (happily of course) about the big plot twist in ep 10 of YOI.

hey guys! I've been out of the anime loop for QUITE some time now, and was looking to jump back in while I had some free time.

All of the YOI hype on the HWYD thread has made me decide to watch it, but I'm also interested in looking into other more current stuff or stuff I might've missed in the more recent years.

Anyone have any recommendations? Or, even better yet, a website or handy informative resource they use to stay on top of anime?

googled around and found anilist and myanimelist, which were both really helpful. LOTS of anime out there, lord almighty LOL.

In any event, does anyone have any recommendations?
Stuff I've watched and enjoyed in the past - ouran, claymore, wolf's rain, one punch man, code geass, ... a lot of other stuff (blue exorcist, black butler, etc) that just isn't as memorable for me to be bothered to list them all.

most recently I started watching psycho pass after many many years of not watching any anime, and I didn't end up finishing it... I did just finish gekkan shoujo nozaki kun from a friend's recommendation, and found it enjoyable but a little superficial - I wasn't very invested in it.

If you like action, watch Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. I loved that show.

I also want to watch Mob Psycho 100. I've heard a lot of good things about it.

xmands - MAL is very convenient, if you look up titles you have seen and liked, you will usually be able to see recommendations of similar shows that you might like.

On that note, I won't recommend anything in particular, because I'm way hard to recommend things myself - mainly because I'm past caring about things being 'good' and will watch all sorts of good things or total crap.
If anything, for me it's usually the downright... mediocre stuff that's hardest to get through.

That said, winter season is almost upon us! I plan to follow along Kuzu no Honkai (I like those dark and ugly emotions-driven shows), and maybe Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu season 2 - I loved the first season, although it's possible that I will marathon s2 when it's over. I'm still kinda... not used to following along more than just one ongoing thing at a time, since I usually marathon anime.

aaaaay thanks for the advice/recommendations guys! I'll have to find time to fit them in now that school's back in session.

I also prefer to marathon anime, and I'm happy I was able to with YOI, which I enjoyed immensely!
