Suggestion: "The Eddy" for released creatures

I'd like to suggest that we have something a bit like the pound you see on other sites. Maybe a little offshoot of the stream? The idea is that there's a small area of the stream where water has made a tiny bay embedded in the bank, and swirls in a gentle circle instead of flowing. Eggs that people don't want are placed in the eddy to keep them safe until someone picks them up, and hatchies appear on a safe patch of grass nearby. Adults may even show up in the grass.
I'm not sure if this would work best with just eggs, just immature creatures, or all of them, but I think it'd be cool if released creatures could be picked up by other people.
