Deep in the heart of Silva Forest, where no Magi dares to go, there grows an ancient tree. It sits alone in the middle of a clearing, where it has sat for thousands of years, its grey bark dappled by the sunshine leaking through its dark green leaves.
In the Spring, when all is vibrant and growing, Silvian Alphyns gather at the base of the tree, staring upwards with ears pricked and curled tails still. In the silence the tree sheds its fruit; green apple-like orbs patter to the soft ground. Each Alphyn gathers an orb and carries it back to the Magi at the Keep.
And so Silvian Alphyns are born.
