Standing outside your keep, a sudden darkness falls as everything around you goes to a deep quiet. Startled, you look up, then watch as a large bronze and black shape slowly drifts away from the sun, allowing light to grace the keep walls once more. Gliding gracefully your Total Eclipse hippogryph spirals down slowly to land before you. The large predator cocks his head & looks at you quizzically, seeming to ask for something. With a smile you pull a slice of jerky from your belt pouch and hold it out. As the wicked beak takes the treat from your hand delicately, you slide your hand gently along the feathers of its head, scratching behind the sensitive ears. You marvel at this great creature, one of the few hippogryphs to nest in the volcanic mountains of Voltair, another legendary lineage with only pure hippogryph blood.
