Kitsunes have intelligent minds and are not afraid to use them. Maximillion wasn't your average kitsune. When young, he developed an ability to see into the future. Which wasn't necessarily bad to have, besides a couple of verbal quirks (his tendency to respond before someone spoke could get rather irritating). However, his denmates had to caution him against acting rashly, as they believed that fate should be set in stone, and the result of meddling with it would be unpredictable. Maximillion had never questioned this philosophy, as he saw no reason to, until he met a female kitsune by the name of Astro. She had been exploring, unaware of what would happen to her. Maximillion was just in time to prevent her getting trampled. She survived, and they mated, but he has been forced to carry this secret since.
