...
I have a pet cat, named Furball. He is sort of a stray, and really friendly. He never really scratches or bites, but does go into playful moods every now and then...
Appearance:
He has a grayish brownish coat, and is a tabby (black-ish stripes)
Yellow eyes
(that's about all I can really think of at the moment)
Personality:
Furball is really mellow, never angry unless you accidentally step on him or something. He likes to sit on my lap, when I sit down outside, also, for some reason, he always has a slighly drippy nose. (is this something to worry about...?) Overall, he [Furball] is super chill, and affectionate to everyone. :D
Stories..?
Found him in 2007, didn't exactly take him in since my mom refused to, saying he was dirty and might have rabies. We let him in a lot, but never overnight, since he HAS ( :sulk: ) to sleep outside in his little bed we provide for him. At first we thought he was a girl, but found out a couple years later... that he was a boy :derp:
I remember when Furball got sick, and he was really lethargic, and ruffled looking, like he hadn't groomed. He was super sick, and we thought he was gonna die. Fortunately, he survived, and now is around 10-11 years old!
An actual story about him is that he got stuck in one of our house's vent (or something), and was trapped for a couple hours, while we were out. We got back, and kept hearing meows, while in the house. We thought he had snuck in, since that's happened a couple times. We scoured the house, but couldn't find him. Eventually, we decided to check outside, and looked around. Somehow, we located the source of the noise which happened to be in the vents. Before we had left, the little metal plate thingy had been bolted in, and Furball had gotten stuck inside... We think he had gone in to cool off, but then got trapped in there. We had to un-bolt the gate/door, and let him out, and then re-seal it. Funny thing is, the next day, he was nosing around the grate, trying to get in... :srsly:
... probably more will be added

I currently have 6 pets

2 dogs, 2 guinea pigs 1 winter white hamster and 1 syrian hamster

Image
These are my 2 doggies Cody (4 years old) and Dexter (6 years old)
They are both from Poland.

Dexter was my very first doggie ever. I got him when he was 1 year and 3 months old. In this short time he came to a polish animal shelter when he was 6 months old sadly he was abused before that (fear of men and long objects, probably hit with long objects my a man) when he was about 10 months old he came to the Netherlands where he stayed in a foster family for 2 weeks. After that he was adopted by a couple. But he kept biting and growling at the man, so after a couple of months he was put up for adoption again, and that's when I saw him on the website. I adopted him and he looked so lost :t-hugme: he did not want to sit beside me on the couch (he would move to the other side of the couch when I sat next to him) and over the span of 1 year he would slowly move closer and closer and after a year he finally sat next to me and cuddled up to me. Now he is my BFF. After I had him for 2 years the previous owner e-mailed me to tell me she found out that her boyfriend was hitting her dogs and that he had also done this to Dexter, which was the reason Dexter would bite him she kicked him out but felt guilty towards Dexter.

Cody was 6 or 7 months old when I got him. He was found on a playground in Poland when he was about 5 months old. He was "delivered" to my house directly from Poland and he was 1 but mess, 1 big ball of hair with big lumps of dirt in it. He was found on a playground in Poland when he was about 5 months old. I was able to bring him to a dog groomer 2 days later and when I got him back I was shocked, all his bones where sticking out, he was so skinny :t-puppyeyes: He was also very very nervous easily scared and easily distracted so training him was hard. He was afraid of almost everything and did not take treats from my hand and it took him 1,5 years to be house-trained. But I was determined to keep him and now he is just a cute little cuddly fur ball. He is still nervous and easly scared but that's just Cody.

This is my Guinea pig Molly. She came to me just after my pet rats died. Someone found her on the street during vacation season and I took her in. She was fully grown when she was found so her age is unknown, I kept her alone for about a month (to make sure she was not pregnant or sick) and after that I got her a little "sister".

Image
Her little "sister" is named Poppy. she came from a breeder nearby (there where no shelters and I really wanted a companion for Molly) Molly was a bit confused about this other piggie at first but she started to adjust really quickly. Poppy really acts like an annoying little sister, she likes so steal Molly's veggies when she is eating them :t-xD:

This is my Syrian hamster Ezri, she's really sweet and a little bit of a clown, she recently turned 2 years old :woo:

And this is little Samina, she is about 1,5 years old and loves sunflower seeds :D

I have a black and white (tuxedo) female cat named Lizzie. We got her and her brother(Who died, from a fox or coyote) from a family who just found out that their youngest son was allergic to cats.

Due to circumstance, I currently only have two pets. Usually I'd have a dog (or even a horse if I had the land) and my wife would have a cat, but right now we've got two budgies. A female and male, named Puff and Doot respectively.

Here's a pic! (blue = Puff, green = Doot)

Previously the male's name was Artoo (even though he's the green one), but we changed it to Doot promptly after our two year old son came for a visit, saw the bird, pointed at him and exclaimed "DOOT!!!"

Puff is much younger than Doot, she hasn't even gone through her first molt yet. Her full name is Cream Puff, which we've given her for being so darn sweet. Doot's kind of a jerk, but they've become a pair despite their drastic differences in personality.

They're both still pretty new to our family, thus they aren't fully socialized yet, but they're getting there! They'll sit on our hands as long as we keep them in the cage, and eat from our hands as well.

Aw I love guinea pigs and hamsters. Not sure if I ever made it fully known on here, but I have a new hamster named Ben. He is a little puff ball with a reddish-pink nose that looks like a berry...I call him Berrynose every so often.

Officially stole my grandma's dog, but I think of it as being a promise fulfilled. They said I could get a puppy, although Samson is a two-year old (maybe three by now...the rescue didn't know when he was born, but he is confirmed to be a young dog), and I got one. For being older than Harvey, he sure is smaller. But he can hold his own against the bigger Chihuahua.

And we also have a Budgie now...our second one in a long, long time.

I have pet mice -- seven of them -- and I really love them a lot???? But most people get all grossed out over them, and that kind of sucks. They're a bit dumb, but loving, and they like to be picked up so they can check out what I'm doing. A couple of them nap on my shoulder sometimes. They share this huge terrarium that I found with a mesh lid. It's got a two-story house, a wheel (sometimes two), a straw hut, a straw rolling ball, a seed log, a tower, and a ladder to climb. I'd share a picture, but they don't like to stay put and I need to clean their wheel off. Why they eat halfway up their wheel and seem content to run with the crumbs I will NEVER KNOW.

Anyways, since nobody ever really wants to hear about them in person, a general description of my little lovelies:

~ Neo: feeder mouse. 1 year old. Sick right now but super sweet and friendly. She favors the first floor of the house.
~ Tracer: the biggest, fattest mouse. Orange-gold. Eight months old. A little skittish, but cuddly. She likes the toilet paper rolls I put in there occasionally. So named because she was smaller than my thumb and quicksilver fast when we first took her home. She has a gimp leg now, poor thing, but still gets around pretty quick.
~ Midna: the baby. Brindle with a white stripe. 6 months. She's smaller than the others but doesn't give them the chance to push her around. She was a surprise adoption from a coworker who didn't want her anymore because his girlfriend doesn't like mice. Has a habit of reaching for me and clinging to my finger when pulling her out of the terrarium.
~ Abbadon: solid black fancy mouse. Another surprise adoption from the vet we go to. She's over a year old, but we're not sure exactly how much older. A couple months, maybe. Abby is standoffish and skitters away from human hands, but curls up at the bottom of the mouse pile when they sleep.
~ Triss: Actually TRSS. Midna's sister. We had Midna's name pegged pretty much straight away when we first got them, but the little silver-grey mouse was a harder pick. Later my SO suggested "Triss" as a name, as per his friend. Three months later he told me it means "the real Slim Shady". Thanks for that, N. Triss likes to burrow under the wheel.
~ Toasted Marshmallow Snowflake: Because I can never decide between Toast, Marshmallow, or Snowflake. Eight months. She was a pale grey with a darker nose and ears when she was young. Toast's fur has darkened considerably since, but she still has that dark strip of fur around her neck that looks like a scarf. She likes to chill near the top of the ladder.
~ Bea: Previously Beatrice before Triss came. Eight months old. Chincilla grey, y'know, like two-toned? She's pretty sizable and quick, but not quite as big as Tracer. When Tracer was injured, she brought our goldie food. Still sort of standoffish, but once we've got her she's happy to play. She naps on my shoulder sometimes. Her favourite spot is on the second floor of the house, but she usually sleeps in the hut with her best friend (guess who).

...I've talked too much already. It's just nice to ramble about them somewhere, y'know?

I have snakes, two of them. :3 One is a snow corn snake, Ghost, and the other is a pastel ball python, Vespa. Both are such sweethearts... sometimes Ves can have a snappy attitude tho, I'm thinking it's cuz her rats were too small for her, and I recently upped her rat size, so she should be a lil better. XD They're so cute.

I don't actively do it all the time, so mostly simple things like "come", "spin", "fetch", and so on. I could probably do a lot more, but they're my friends and family members first, and tiny performers second, especially with my schedule. There's a YouTube channel called MouseAgility that shows some of these off.
