General
Moebian foxes are among the most intelligent creatures in the Keep. They are very quick to learn, picking up new commands and tricks within minutes. That also goes for things they are not supposed to know, and thus food has to be stored outside their reach as they will quickly figure out how to get to it just by watching their magi. Bellon moebian foxes grow to be about thirty years old, give or take a few years. Once at this age, they will just disappear one day. A few days later, a pacis moebian fox will show up at the doorstep. It will answer to the same name, know the same tricks and know its way around the home, just like the fox that vanished. The assumption is, of course, that the fox got reborn as its equal and opposite. However, no one has ever watched the actual rebirth and a fox dying a violent death will not return. Some people claim that the same moebian fox has been in their family for centuries, going through the cycle repeatedly. Since the rebirth usually takes place during the winter months, moebian foxes are seen as symbols for the new year by many.

Hatchling
Your little fox is small but energetic. It seems to love destroying things, and you've quickly learned to keep anything breakable out of its reach. When you go outside, it will find a stick or other piece of wood and bite and claw at it until it is reduced to thousands of little pieces. Luckily, it never turns these urges against other creatures. Your furniture, however, shows the marks of all its attempts to take it apart. Even though it is quickly absorbing all the commands you teach it, you haven't been able to stop this habit yet.
Adult
Your bellon moebian fox is still as destructive as the hatchling you raised, but by now, it at least listens to your commands to stop. It is still not a good idea to leave it alone with anything it could destroy, but you have learned to work around that. However, many places in the Keep have banned bellon foxes from their premises, even if kept on a leash, especially the library and the alchemist laboratories. Your bellon moebian fox is very warm to the touch, almost but not quite hot enough to hurt, even at the outside of its thick coat. This can prove useful to heat things up or keep them warm, provided whatever it is cannot be destroyed easily, of course.
