Crowker (Corax Raven x Abeoth Frog)

Basically imagine all the "fun" of a thieving crow, but with a long sticky tongue that makes it even harder to keep your valuables safe. It probably doesn't do much beyond being a straight mix of its parents abilities/traits, but hey, not every hybrid needs to have some super unique function.
I like to assume it can still fly, but instead of using its dinky wings it can do it by inflating its froggy throat sack like a hot-air balloon instead. The wings flap pitifully on its back to push it in the direction it wants to go, but are unable to actually keep it airborn without the throatballoon.
They're capable of eating anything that can fit in their mouths, which is a lot thanks to the fact that toads are basically stomachs and mouths on legs.
I like to imagine one pilfering objects by pulling them into their throat sack, like a robber's bag.
They can caw, croak, and make all manner of sounds their parents can make. This includes a bit of vocal mimicry.
Hatchlings can be called Tadcrowles. Those who've just got their legs can be called Crowdlets. :derr:

Even if that may look like an ear jutting out of the feathers, it's supposed to be the tympanic membrane you'd see on a frog/toad. I figured it'd be uncovered, but I see that I accidentally made it look less "a patch of featherless skin" and more "an ear poking through the feathers."

Edit: I can't write a description I'm happy with, so unfortunately I've only got egg/hatchling.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Egg:
This jelly-like egg has been laid in a skull.
Hatchling:
Coming right out of the box with an inquisitive nature and a sharp beak, Crowker tadepoles would be much more of a handful if they weren't aquatic. Even as it is, your hatchling spends a good majority of its time poking its face out of the water and squawking for food and attention. Luckily, you learned early on that it can be placated for a while by giving it something shiny, and it now has a collection of colorful pebbles and similar objects piled up in one of its tank's corners. Despite its limited mobility at this stage, you could swear that things it shouldn't be able to reach have ended up in the pile.
I clicked this not knowing what to expect, and I absolutely love it! This is the craziest combination I've seen in awhile, I wish I thought of it. :D
