EGG:
This egg appears to encase the shape of a feline, guarding a flame.
HATCHLING:
Candlelight panthers are incredibly vulnerable at birth, as the parasitic flame that feeds off the panther's life force in exchange for high magical prowess and intelligence as an adult can be blown out by a light breeze. It is ideal that all candlelight panthers should be hatched in a room without windows. Once the panther is old enough to begin using magic, many of their owners find themselves without their panther; their only clues are the rather charred curtains and an open window. Many of these young panthers are found terrifying travelers late at night as they fade in and out of view, with only the small flame visible.
ADULT:
An adult candlelight panther is a very solitary creature, and it is not uncommon for one to abandon their magi upon adulthood. However, it is advised to alert local authority if a panther goes missing, as they will attack travelers and feast upon the magic in their souls. The parasitic flame inside the panther now seems to have a mind of its own, as it can perform a plethora of magical feats; however, most of these are used for killing those who travel alone and even puppeteering them to force them to hunt for the panther by planting a small ember inside the victim's soul. These abilities, among the ability to speak human language and mimic voices, make the candlelight panther an excellent companion for dark magi.
GENERAL:
Many magi prefer to not breed the Telvian panther and the Medonho Pesadelo- and for good reason. Although it is a fragile creature at birth, the candlelight panther quickly becomes a threat to all magi, especially travelers, if left untamed. The flame that lives inside the panther seems to be alive, and feeds off the panther's soul, but is even more of a threat than the panther itself, quickly dispatching any and all foes. In addition, the candlelight panther is nigh impossible to capture if it escapes a novice magi; some have said that the panther is like smoke in the wind. Dark magi tend to form a pact with their candlelight panthers, and are very difficult to stop if they do so.

Glad to hear that! I originally wanted to have Hellhound x Telvian Panther, but Medonho Pesadelo was more fitting.

Also, were you the one who wanted to make art? Is that why you posted?

I'm not the one who voted to make art, I just wanted to let you know that I really like your idea.

I like this idea lot! I was not the one who voted to draw it but I might be interested in doing so while working on other competition entries. I won't be able to respond to anything for a day or two as I'm going to be on a plane. if someone else offers and you prefer them over me I won't be offended.

I'm going to wait until the poll ends to decide anything. It ends tomorrow, so if you decide you want to make art for this, I'll be ready.
