►Xandi Bears [name subject to change]

Post by LightningDragon »

Xand Bear + Nandi Bear [maybe with an albino variant if bred with an albino nandi]
will try to get some images uploaded

►EGG
This brown and black egg has a stubby tail poking out.
►VARIANT
This white egg has a stubby tail poking out.

►HATCHLING
__ bear hatchlings are certainly interesting, as their behavior varies widely between calm searches for food and wild play. Covered in erratic patches of brown and black fur, with paws far too large for their bodies, they make an amusing sight when following their magi, particularly when they grow tired and have to be carried. The strange markings found on xand bears carry over to these offspring, in white coloring.

►ADULT
As adults, __ bears exhibit traits from both of their parents. Generally calm and even friendly, they can become incredibly dangerous if they perceive a threat. They are widely known for their affection and loyalty to their chosen magi, and carry magic from both of their parents. Like xand bears, they are able to grow rare herbs, commonly herbs found in hot climates; and like nandi bears, they have amazing strength and endurance.

►GENERAL
__ bears are not common to come across; the natures of their parent species are generally too different to allow a hybrid such as this, and no record exists of one coming into existence without the help of magi. They prefer the hot climates that their nandi bear parents come from, and often wander their way to the desert. They are omnivorous, but tend to eat more plant life due to their xand bear heritage. They are coveted by many magi not just for their abilities over the earth, but also for their loyalty.

[very] rough concept

I FULLY SUPPORT THIS BEAR. I love you for this idea. But maybe something about them being too lazy to carry a rider, or too weak? Or maybe they still can/will carry their magi, like a Nandi bear? That seems to be a big part of the nandi's adult description. But that's my only idea. I... I just... I love this.

Thank you!!!! <3 I figured we could use more bears; and I was trying to blend the best of both the xand and the nandi, although that's not always how hybrids work.
